  1. Guess he may have to hand back his Dad of the year title
  2. These things go on in every walk of life from the office to the factory, it just so happens knowone cares about it until it is a "celeb", then the media are all over it, in fact they make it worse, I am sure JT is going through hell at home right now as is his wife ! Its human nature, I dread to think what I would get up to if I earned £150K a week, the temptations must be huge and present themselves all the time, it will all be old news in a week for us all EXCEPT for JT and the wife Will it effect his ability to play, thats all we should care about
  3. Yep that was my point really as that little lot adds up to more than just a few odd jobs to make perfect, still if this is reflected in the price then it should not be an issue really
  4. For a member to be able to give you a realistic price we would need to be told what exactly the few problems are, we would also need to know the full spec of the car including service history, these things will make a difference. pic of the 'worn' interior will be helpful as well A black TT Aero is always going to be of interest but the price will be driven out of the above I am the wrong one to ask BTW on the price as I always get shot down for being too low, thing is do you want it sold now or are you prepared to wait, I would use Pistonheads, Autotrader and here
  5. Chris, your pub sounds much more interesting than my local
  6. looks like the xs power intercooler to me, it is ok BTW, I ran one for a while before going to the HKS Type R, the main problem I see in them is that the end tanks are very small and the surface area for the pipework is also very short and can cause risk of pipes blowing off
  7. Kind of sad if someting is broken when you get there as well 64 miles on a trailer is nothing
  8. Will the mapper not travel to you for the startup, so much damage can be caused by not having the mapper there during the start up of a new set up If they will not travel to you I would get a trailer and take the car to the mapper that way, for the sake of a few quid on a trailer it is worth it
  9. Very sorry, my thoughts are with the family and friends, may he RIP
  10. Nah , it was a car I always wanted and one that I never did own I said to the missus tonight if I had a barn I would fill it with classics and never sell one of my cars again, just store them, sold so many now that I regret parting with I want a real old classic to go with the Corvette now we have the new Merc for day to day stuff, think an MGB or old Stag look appealing
  11. Very clean car indeed, very tempting, I want a black TT6 single again !
  12. I would be happy to look over the business for you or offer help, I have been in the hospitality industry for 20 years
  13. These Dummies books are a good idea http://www.amazon.com/Running-Breakfast-Dummies-Mary-White/dp/0470426829
  14. I would take a step back and look at at the main functions of a hotel and create subheadings to work from, this will focus the search for a newbie a little, eg Hotel itself Hotel name, location, phone numbers, companies house reg details, email address, website details, outside adverts and agents Resevations and reception Resevation system, number of rooms, pricing of rooms, room details, rooms maintenance, rooms on/offline, Rev par per room, room specs, opening times, room facilities Food and beverage Menus, suppliers, food cost %, resevations, opening times, food hygiene details, pest control records, uniforms, changing rooms, special offers, booking system, complaints procedure, inventory of goods, stock control Housekeeping Laundry inventry, dry cleaning service, staffing requirements, equipment, maintenance etc etc The lists are endless so it helps to break out the hotel disiplines, hope this helps
  15. Never gave the reg a thought to be honest It really is mint though and a credit to the previous owner, it would be wrong to own it and have no garage like me
  16. Stumbled across a very interesting dealer in classic car mag while searching for a decent MGB, headed over to Lower Dunston road in Brentwood Essex yesterday to view 2, a six cylinder MGBC and an MGB Roadster The dealer is Days Autos and they sell a wide selection of collectables from rust bucket projects to mint cherished cars The MG's were not for me so I took a wonder round, there were old Yank tanks which some of you know I love, the Plymouth Roadrunner they have ran a 10.something 1/4 mile, very cool and HUGE Then I came across a mint RS Cosworth in Monstone blue, the most original car I have seen, the interior was 100%,only some silicone pipes and a stainless exhaust were not original, thought it worth a mention and if you like the old RS 500 then this is the car to view I was very tempted and want it gone to be honest !! Went to spend 3K on an MG and almost went for this RS ! Scroll down to see http://www.powerglide.webeden.co.uk/#/stock/4525989930
  17. Its the darker grey rather than the light silver
  18. Great results They built my R32 down at TDI, Mark Catchpole and the team really know there stuff, my cars engine bay was on their office wall and web site for ages (might still be there!) edit, yep its still on their gallery page : ) The dyno cell and set up there really is something special, no traction issues and knackered tyres with a hub dyno and quite something seeing a BIG bhp car on it
  19. What about Silverstone garage, not too far away and will have the parts (second hand as well if a disc is required on a budget)
  20. Problem is if it has excessive wear you will need pads and perhaps a disc(s), Kwik fit will not have these in stock for sure I would look at visiting one of the forum garages in the Midlands, ASH or CW Where exactly are you, it is not a complex job and I am sure with some pics from guys on here the slider is something you could do yourself
  21. anywhere BUT kwik fit .....really I am not joking
  22. I had a similar problem with my red NA, it was a sticking brake caliper slider and a little copper grease on this after a light clean and all was well, was caused by the car standing for a while I would get it sorted soon though as the disc will be getting damaged from the excessive wear cause by the caliper constantly gripping the disc (and causing the heat)
  23. C4 ran upto 96 so fingers crossed, always nice to go into the cars history file
