  1. I brought a new C200 CDI at christmas, love having a brand new car and the way it feels and drives, I would have liked a bit morepower but the economy factor and lower insurance was important for this as it spends hours and hours in traffic in London each week I went for the AMG Wheels and body kit which Merc gave me for free in the end with a fair bit of negociation I am very happy after 5000 miles and would recommend a new C class to anyone, the 350 should be a nice engine I would imagine
  2. He is in Scotland tonight Conservative to win is my prediction
  3. Its going to be close, I am very interested in what dramatic changes will follow to recoup some of the billions the UK needs to repay the national debt, none of them have been detailed on how they are going to raise the cash but it will be dramatic for sure Will give it a few hours to get an idea
  4. Imagine a C4 Corvette would be a challenge to set up ?, such old school suspension I will be in it anyway and look forward to getting some advice on the subject
  5. Cool, look out for a subtle little red corvette

  7. Won't help seeing the special cars at WIM this week, some very nice singles for sale as well at the moment
  8. It is still running as it happens,I have spoken to the owner a few times, has a dog box and AP brakes now, TDI used to have a picture of the engine bay in their waiting room It ran jap spec brakes when I had it, hence tooquicktostop The car was insane and yet "only" made 735 bhp fly, seems tame today for some reason
  9. Thought it would be good, welldone, now stop talking of selling it and enjoy it instead! When they mapped my R32 they never allowed you to be in the dyno cell, when did that change, it gets so full of fumes in there
  10. Lee, you will have to invest a little more in the car to get the full value potential back, selling a broken car will give you such a low return, there is a risk in that the tuner tells you the engine is shot but the gain is it could be a quick fix, then you can repair it and sell for a much better price I would not break it or sell broken if it was me
  11. Shame it ended up on flea-bay, its a rare car, would be a fantastic drive
  12. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CORVETTE-Lingenfelter-50th-Anniversary-Limited-Edition-/150436293298?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2306b3aab2 Nice 550 BHP twin turbo
  13. I am buying a 355 yes, that will be a real "moment" for me though and will be kept in a new storage parking space I am renting,it willcome out on rare occasions, its an investment as well as a dream for me
  14. Love the MK1 GTI, I remember them when they were new A true legend and a chef friend of mine had a white GTI cab when I was 19, he lent it to me for a weekend while he was away on holiday, loved every second of it, could not afford one then I have just bid on a white GTI MK1 cab based on this very post
  15. Thats my motto on life I will get my coat
  16. Wait until the election is over, A LOT of things are going to go up, we are all going to be quite a bit worse off for some time
  17. Jesus that car is jinxed, it reminds me so much of my Black single and the problems it gave me, some cars just never seem to stay reliable, regardless what you spend You need to take a step back, I was rash when my turbo went after 800 miles and I put it up for sale for peanuts, I got peanuts as well, silly move You need to get it to a tuner and find out what is wrong at least, then decided what to do
  18. I chased big BHP for a lot of wrong reasons in the past, this is an expensive hobby as those of you who do it will know, it is sooooo addictive and you get used to the next level so quickly, I remember picking up my R32 Stroker from TDI in Essex, they said it was running 735 BHP fly and was mental quick, within 3-4 weeks I wanted more, that cost me a fortune, I came back to Supras and had a couple more singles never found a point where I had "enough" power I think if I did it again I would be a lot wiser and better at the build choice, not sure I want to spend the money again though and this is why I am going to just get a 355 and be done with it, all show and no go
