  1. Its such a shame, the Pakistani cricket team are idols in there country and to many other nationals around the world, there are thousands who would wish to represent their country and see it as a honour to do so, this is just rubbing their noses in it, it is a disgrace, if found to be true the players involved should be banned for life, not for few months I remember when I lived in Barking Essex and Pakistan won a series, there was parties in the street, they love their cricket
  2. And when they are a day or two old I use them to make the best bread and butter pudding ever 6 - 8 Croissants torn into 6 pieces each 500ml double cream 350ml milk 4 whole eggs 175g castor sugar Vanilla essence 150g pecan nuts 150g white chocolate broken into large pieces Sprinkle light brown sugar 1.Line an oven proof dish with butter and add the torn up croissants 2.Boil the milk and cream together 3.Whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla until creamy 4.Continue whisking the eggs while you pour on the milk/cream 5.Pour mixture over the croissants 6.Add the pecans and white chocolate evenly pushing them below the surface 7.Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake in oven at 160oC for 20mins or until just set Serve with vanilla ice cream, its fab You can replace the white chocolate with dark or even Terry's chocolate orange which is nice
  3. I would change the matrix anyway now its out, you would not want to fix the valve and put it all back together to have the old one go on you
  4. I need the 928 picked up by trailer as my missus is not well enough to drive down their with me (she is going through chemotherapy at present) Does anyone still do this on here?, the trailer would need to come by here and collect the cash I still need to pay (Purfleet Essex) then drive the 60 miles to Newhaven near Brighton then bring it back to my house? Any takers
  5. Not helping much I know but the Carb Ferrari 328 is the top of my must have classic list, hope this years bonus cuts it What about a Porsche Cayenne
  6. 35 lol, i am 38 and love the Bentley, I will have one for sure, they have such quality, and have such class, still 10MPG could hurt as a daily driver ! Sierra Cosworth, do it up then sell it to me as I am having a hard time finding a nice one for good money b!
  7. I had an E55 AMG and it was amazing but it was expensive when it went wrong as the parts are not cheap, such power for so little money though The 740i BMW I had was great fun and a wonderful GT car I would cruise all day long in the Vette and a C5 must be worth a look, the 928 is also a possibility as a quirky option I also like the last M5 or the 840i all would give you change from 15K Maybe a classic Camaro ? You could get a Bentley for 15K as well, some great cars in Classic car mag, N reg Brooklands Bentley 15K, wot wot Loads of interesting stuff out there
  8. 407 for me, you can get a 360 Ferrari kit for it
  9. Does it switch off the interior alarm motion sensors Or is it an electronic boot opener
  10. Nice, will it actually run down the strip
  11. Will need to keep the lights down Still love it, I dont see it coming out at night much
  12. I agree mate, Supra is far better, I have had 6 of them though, I am collecting all the cars I wanted as a kid ( that I can afford anyway!!) I am not too worried about mechanicals they can all be fixed, I am very used to very low MPG, thats part of the reason they are so cheap to start with
  13. How annoying would that be, I would take them back !
  14. Something new for your little one to sit in Dave
  15. Yes, I bottled it last time I looked at one due to the horror stories, but as I drive them a few hundred miles a year its not an issue if it needs work, Daves my man, he has not let me down yet with both bodywork and mechanicals Blinking bankers !
  16. Yes still have the Corvette, not selling any cars any more just doing them up and keeping them
  17. Not a good as the Vette but I would say twice as quick (its not difficult )
  18. They are great cruisers with plenty of poke for an old car, I have owned a few Porsches but never a 928, look forward to getting it cleaned up and put away for sunny days
  19. You can imagine the sale can't you, it was the same price as a nice house when new !, What colour sir.... red, and the trim... red, carpets... red.....boots, dash, steering wheel, seats.... red man red !

  22. Well after searching for a Cosworth for a few weeks and viewing a lot of dross I have to say I have managed to get one of my other favourites from the 80's, a classic Porsche 928, it was on my wish list a few months ago but bottled it, now I have one Its a VERY 80's car with a great history, it a very red and I love the ostentatious feel of it, it must have been quite a statement when new Dave, get ready
