  1. Oh I dont know, not likely to see any of the current collection going fast enough to need anything more than a bobble hat so £30 plus £5 postage ??
  2. Pics, size is xlarge, open to an offer
  3. I have a blue open face helmet which is brand new I brought just for this same thing, never wore it as the car was never ready!! Happy to sell it
  4. Will come in handy with the cars to come Magnum Ferrari Dave those arches cleaned up very nice, will call you tomorrow to talk about the broken bits Pistonbroke, I am off to Essex Arena again tomorrow watching the banger racing with the kids, I will get a quick video of the decat then
  5. Very interesting I love this car, I have test driven several, have you driven one? They are not very quick and the gear change is very difficult to get used to I have to say it is IMO one of the best looking Ferrari's ever made Now.... Mark from Phoenix worked on these some years ago and as he was building my single Supra I was looking at getting one of these, he said he had never come across a car that broke so often, and was so expensive to fix, its worth bearing in mind I would still get one, but thats just me, I think they look amazing Saying that the 308 Carb has to have one of the most wonderful interiors of any Ferrari, just amazing, take some time to visit The Ferrari centre in Kent, they are very helpful and dont dismiss first time buyers, they are also very honset Hope you get the car you want
  6. Maybe I could visit you tomorrow and get the splitter for the Golf??
  7. Hope you have not brought a pup, leaks after 200 miles
  8. I did mate yes, however I wish I had never sold it, it was a very nice looking 5 speed NA and to have a nice NA and BPU car would have been perfect for the collection
  9. Dave also did 2 of my Supras, a full body respray on my Black BPU with a new TRD spoiler, blinking sold both cars !! And a VERY cheap NA I brought just over 1K purchase price, looked 100% better when finished with Supraloopy
  10. Would be happy to let anyone come and view if they wanted
  11. not the greatest pic by miles but here are the others yes inc the merc, I am currently in negotiations on a barn in Essex to store the cars, if it does not work out I will buy a barn
  12. Thanks for starting the thread Dave, great to watch it progress without having to bug you on the phone all the time Old Bentley Turbo R news
  13. Cheers, so many cars I have owned and sold that I should never have let go, The Black BPU Supra is one of my biggest regrets, will get another one one day
  14. Love the comments and the banter, it was never going to be everyone's cup of tea, in fact I had to look at it twice It is more tired than the pics give it justice to be very honest and after I spent ages looking for one this one just kept growing on me, good service history with some very scary bills, but as a multiple Supra owner nothing out of the ordinary! It is worth mentioning that this is a project and will never be a daily driver, in fact it will come out very little indeed, it is about building a collection of cars I always wanted as a younger chap, I will not be selling any more cars, just getting then back to former glory and enjoying them, keeping them stored when not in use, plenty of more projects to come The projects are not designed to be no expense spared but doing the best with a budget, Dave is fantastic at this I have to say I hope Dave enjoys working on these projects, he fits them in around his "out of hours" time and the results I have seen in the 4 cars Dave has worked on for me so far are amazing for the price he has charged me I think this car will be the most challenging yet but I have always loved the 928, it has nothing to do with how it drives, how reliable it is or how others see it, it is purely about collecting the dream cars of old for me, even if they are pigs to others The Golf GTI MK1 is a blast to drive, go-cart like, the Corvette never fails to put a smile on my face and turns heads everywhere I hope you enjoy the progress thread, I will, it may take some time but I know it will be amazing when finished Its worth mentioning when following Dave in the car on Sunday and him booting it, it sounded fantastic and it has just the road presence I always remember the car having, goose bumps
  15. Yep, only just joined though, was at Lehman Brothers in Canary Wharf before that for 8 years Plenty of places to choose from to meet up for a beer and bite to eat
  16. I would be up for a city meet, I am at Goldman
  17. I am going down to the speed trials this Saturday, hope the weather holds out
  18. Some amazing serious money in those cars Chris, most folk could not afford the fuel and tyre costs for one days racing ! Love the classic Arrows
  19. It is worth the trip, when I buy a car now, I dont even think twice about small blemishes in paint work or small dents etc, he works wonders with them, the work he did on the Golf MK1 was amazing, someone came round today dropping off leaflets, he spent 15mins walking around it !
  20. Massive thanks for the last minute dropping of everything on your only day off Dave today to spend over 4 hours including traffic jams to collect the Porsche 928, really appreciated and as always the same level of "above and beyond" service DW Services always gives, many thanks Now lets hope the restoration of this car goes as well as the others you have done for me, I think this one will be the greatest transformation in terms of condition and I look forward to seeing the progress over the coming weeks Thanks to your good lady as well for letting you do this and sorry to Daisy
