  1. I am starting to love the sound a car makes more than how fast it goes, must be my age !!
  2. Will have some up tomorrow when I get chance to check it out in the light
  3. Just picked this up tonight and drove it home for the first time from Daves, thanks again Dave for a great job The 928 S2 drives so well, a real GT car, When new it must have been a real experience especially in 1984 when this one was made and average folk were in Allegros and Maxis! Absolutely love it!
  4. I would say its value fixed would give you far greater return than the value now, what do you think its worth now
  5. Cheers, not chasing your BHP is my biggest challenge!!, must pick up the ZX9 as well before it becomes a classic bike !!
  6. Straight up, the only Supra I would come back for could be mine by Sunday, Black, TT, BPU, Leather and fingers crossed for a deal
  7. This information would have been very useful in the original post mate, would not have changed my initial offer however : )
  8. It needs Paint, couple of grand A stereo as it appears to have been removed A rear spoiler A service as you make no mention of history of service A set of wheels as they are dreadful A dam good valet as it is filthy inside I was genuine with the offer, sorry if that offended you but was an opening offer, that's what happens when you don't set your expectation out at the beginning unfortunately
  9. £1,750 genuine offer for a TT that needs painting and work
  10. Just about to start on the Porsche, will get some pics up as we go
  11. Should be very interesting, look forward to it, just let me know when you get bored of it
  12. Our house is on the market now so last bump before ebay !
  13. That is just fantastic, what a lot of car for the money
  14. You know what I think you are right, not great and would need changing, I guess I expected that for the money
  15. Would you buy it Jurgen at this price ? Any members who know what they are looking at live close enough to have a butchers for me ?
  16. Agreed, I am as you know aware of the possible issues and what to look for, I see the car in the same way, a possible bargain with a bit of TLC if the basics are in order
  17. For the money I would expect work, it just grabbed my attention for the price, it may well be cheap for a very good reason, could be worth a look but I am happy to walk away these days if the car is not right
  18. Watch it every year, love it I live just behind the Circus Tavern so the old days there were the best, the darts this year have been amazing however
  19. Lets forget the trader for this one please http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201037368231703/sort/priceasc/usedcars/model/supra/make/toyota/page/4/postcode/rm191tl/radius/1501?logcode=p This looks like a nice car for the money? It would need some research on the ECU controlling all this but would be a good weekend car and bring me back to Supra ownership with single power for good TT money?
  20. If the engine is not broke leave it as is with a good full service, dont replace the head gasket if it is not required IMO I would not replace anything like heater matrix, steering pump, stem seals unless there was a problem, just not worth the expense
  21. Bike engine (R1, GSXR1000 etc is always fun in a mini) but as you want to avoid this a high revving engine would be best, VTEC does look good
  22. Said I would never sell them but with storage issues and us wanting to move house this year I have no time or space for them which is a real shame I am going to finish the V8 924 and the 928 but these two have had Dave (Supraloopy's)magic touch on them already and are just waiting for a nice dry garage ready for the spring where they come into there own The Vette was a purchase about 18months ago, it was in a bit of a state when I brought it however it has been through an extensive refurbishment including All rubber seals replaced (big issue on the C4) All electrics sorted (everything works which again is rare!) Braided brake lines Original alloys refurbished with 4 new quality tyres Full custom stainless decat exhaust by Haywood and Scott (cost almost £1000!) Still have the original decats and the exhaust is designed to take these back in for MOT Ram Air induction kit £1000 bespoke Pioneer double din unit and focal front and rear speakers Car also has as standard 5.7L V8 engine with Auto box including overdrive Targa roof which stores in the boot for ease Soundtrack like no other, sounds fantastic Taxed until Feb 2011 has no MOT at present as it has been off the road for the winter but happy to MOT for the new buyer Please feel free to ask questions and view, it is a superb car and I have no doubt the first genuine interest will lead to a sale Looking for £7250ono Golf MK1 GTI This car again had many issues and was a real labour of love for Dave and turned out more expensive to get to this level than planned it has had Paint correction and all rust spots sorted Full white leather interior added including racing style bucket seats Fantastic alloy wheels and good tyres Full engine service including timing belt, oil and water pumps New polished Strut bract and bonnet dampeners Full race stainless 4 branch tubular manifold and downpipe De lock on the rear boot with push button solenoid to open CD Player with top quality speaker install Spax suspension New brake pads all round New Front wheel bearing and hub Has MOT until the summer and tax until Nov 2011 Looking for offers in the region of £3500, happy again to answer questions
