Took months to sort it out actually, it had a lot of issues to fix, new door/rear hatch seals all round, re-wire, electric seat sorting, full Haywood and scott de cat exhaust, 4 new tyres, wheel refurb, £1000 + on ICE, etc etc etc all good now

You were very unlucky, to be honest my single TT6 was built by reputable traders and still had issues, it is a money pit, you have to go into it knowing that to still enjoy it I still think a fully spec'd single will be better than starting all over again Look forward to seeing you back on the road soon

They run at a higher pressure than stock so can find a weakness in the aging heater matrix, not a massive concern but as these cars get older and older its worth considering

Nice Those 1.3bar rad caps can be more trouble than they are worth, I would stick with stock

My ex wife had one of these, it turned out to be just about as reliable as she was

You are absolutely right building the car is fun, collecting the parts, its like Christmas every week.....however there is a tipping point that comes in the build where you are spending beyond the value of the car regardless of what you do next. When you build a single from a good stock base you have so many additional things to think about and not just the engine, I wont go on its been discussed on there so many time, then you have to think about the labour because if you can not do it yourself you need a RESPECTED garage to do it Then the ECU and mapping, followed but a few brief months of excitement as you revel in the power..... then you get used to the power and want more etc etc I want to factor out the above and buy a very well put together Single, be it from Japan or here in the UK, not bothered, as long as it passes a very strict inspection I have built several singles with different tuners and the costs can become unbelievable if you add it all up, my R23 must have owed me £50,000 and my Black TT6 well over £40,000, both great cars but boy was the journey a tough one, in the end they both sold for less than what I paid for the original car before the work, see where I am coming from ! The Single TT6 just before I sold it My R32 GTR 2.7 stroker just after rebuild

I hear what you are saying, however you are right I have been there done that several times.The value is in getting Jurgen to find a well built single for me, I am quite picky now as I dont really "need" it, I have another BPU Supra that is going through some works now and several other "fun" cars The Single will be just for the odd weekend blast where I need a POWER fix, oh and Suprapod etc

It was a great Supra with loads of money and development in the years I owned it

I know you sorted it with very little work, it just never seemed to be working right for me, it is odd to see it for sale again to be honest Jurgen and it has done very little miles in the year I sold it, I would love to own this spec again but I am actually afraid of this car

Carls is nice, have tried the PX route may have to try a cash offer, would like to see what else is out there, still feels very weird to see the old single for sale, feels like fate !!

Bloody hell !! That car was my Eleanor, never had it running right, not sure I would trust her again, I sold it for much less than that as well and spend well over 40K on it !!
