  1. I get 28mpg from my car, absolute luxury, buckets of power and 5 proper seats in a car that is fantastic to drive, an s500 merc and it cost 2900 pounds, one year in and no issues Plenty of fun cars out there for peanuts
  2. It the car a cat D recorded? What is the interior like, any service history
  3. A lot depends on your risk level and are you willing to lose as well as gain potentially Sadly 10k is not that much money these days so getting anyone interested in investing it will be limited
  4. That sounds too cheap and I would be concerned about the validity of the policy at that price, is it an import ?
  5. 1.1K seems right to me, its not cheap insuring a high insurance group car at your age, even more so when it has mods on it
  6. I spent many many years chasing a career and big salary with some success, however I definitely forgot that you only live once and you have to enjoy the time you have, sometimes this means earning less but enjoying more time with loved ones or the things you love, I am in a far more conservative lifestyle now but content as I can be, it is not healthy to compare yourself to those around you, very often the thing you envy is hiding the real truth
  7. Did you have the aem remapped for the new fuel system ?
  8. Not much point asking this forum which is best a scooby or a supra, it's always going to be biased towards the supra, I would take the 18k and go shop around for your next toy
  9. Oh no, I really was close to buying this last time, great car for the money
  10. Had the pleasure to see 2 of these in Marbella, they sound epic, If I had the money to buy and maintain a car like this it would be on the list for sure, has practical box ticked over many supercars
  11. 944 on a classic policy, I have had a couple and they are great fun, I have a 1985 944 now and the insurance is 189 per annum
  12. Could be a tv tuner I had something similar in one of my Supras
  13. Well after talking about it for a couple of years we have finally booked the road trip I have always wanted, Route 66 from Chicago to Napa over 27 days this April, we have already booked hotels along the way including 3 days near Fort Worth so I can watch the Texas 500 Nascar race and 3 days in Las Vegas Question is has anyone had any experience in booking a classic/sports car in the USA for such a long period and with different drop off/pick up points, the pick up is in Chicago and drop off in San Fran, would need to be something comfortable as the mileage is huge and something that will not attract a huge premium for extra miles and different locations for pick up / drop off Would like a classic muscle car but would also be happy with a modern muscle car if the price is far more reasonable, needs to look the part though , would also look at other interesting cars if you have any suggestions with prices

  15. Unless you floor it I am positive that it starts in 2nd
  16. In D on an auto you will be starting in 2nd gear, this causes a delay in the turbo spooling up a bit, what ECU are you running and where was it mapped, did the mapper notice anything
  17. The shafts were the least of my worries, this was the tool holding the end of them
