  1. I would get a Supra. couple of grand for an NA Manual, sell it on for a couple of grand when I get back
  2. Best she meets me after she says yes Need a cheap Supra Manual, plenty of those around
  3. I never did do this trip, single was always in the garage!!, I would love to get a Supra just for the trip, it always seems so much fun !
  4. I have a used 8GB itouch sitting in a draw, it is hardly used as I got an iphone, it is the older model but in perfect working order, was going to use it to drive the music in my car but the iphone is always with me so not needed £60 or make me an offer
  5. My boss has a DB9 and a Range Rover Sport Supercharged so I dont think he should be worried
  6. Agree with Abz, Its about ringing around, painful but worth it, Admiral for me as well on my cars (no imports!!)
  7. With a little reading up tonight the 1.8T is looking like the best option, with 225BHP This company offers the conversion for £4K, anyone heard of them http://www.mvdevelopments.co.uk/whatwedo.php
  8. Yes, make it look like there was never a spoiler, it was damaged anyway (as you know), it needs the holes filling and smoothing over ?
  9. I lost 1/2 the front spoiler on the 928 on xmas morning at a speed bump, I blinking drove over it as well, £475 from Porsche.......... front spoiler less it is
  10. I think 220BHP would be enough as traction is challenging in a lightweight FWD, dont fancy a TDI conversion, 20V 1.8 is nice, 700BHP must be insane to drive, not what I am looking for though!
  11. I was !! £1200 and 5 free valets (local car wash guy brought it!)
  12. The MK1 Golf Cab will be back in a week or so and I have plans for it in 2012, I want to invest in a major engine upgrade, I have been trying to get some info from the MK1 GOLF owners club but it as a very quiet forum unfortunately. With so many turbo experts on here does anyone have any recommendations for a power upgrade with a tuner who knows there way around the car and the conversion you recommend, The car currently has a very good and strong 8V engine which should be worth a few quid. I have seen the following with both good and bad write ups 16V conversion is apparently easy but not a major power gain 20V Turbo engine is very popular and delivers good power? VR6 is very good power gain but is very heavy and a difficult job? G60 Supercharged again seems popular? Anyone here got any ideas/tips
  13. Great wheels, had them on my first single turbo car, I had them in chrome but had issues with the road salt and corrosion, had them refurbished in gunmetal, shadow chrome looks fantastic
  14. Why are you selling, it looks fantastic in your car
  15. Sorry for the delay, been away for xmas Dave, its a C model buddy
  16. I work next to St Pauls, it is a stunning building, even when you see it every working day
  17. I will give you a call Dave after Xmas, have a good break
  18. I have had 7 Supras now, 2 singles, I have also had a single R32 GTR so I fully get the power thing, perhaps its age (Just turned 40) and the change possibly needed from raw power to pose/luxury I have soft spot for the 308 and 348 but know they are not reliable, and unreliable Ferrari means big bucks I still miss the power of a Single Supra but it is an old car now and as much fun as I had in them I dont value them quite as high as the owners selling them !!
  19. Its one of the reasons I have not done it already, it does not actually make sense, not many of my past cars ever did though to be honest ! Its about owning a Ferrari if I am honest The Bentley is absolutely stunning to drive, takes 4 adults to the golf club in style with the clubs and my missus loves it to, she thinks the Ferrari is making up for something else, surprised she remembers !!
