  1. my wife loves them!!!! what is it with women!
  2. It would have to be GTR33 for me. Best car I have ever had more exciting to drive than the soop maybe not as quick but more invoved. I'd love tvr FOR the sound buttoo unreliable I believe
  3. my GTR33 felt a lot quicker , more exciting to drive and eager than my Supra although the Supra is quicker at higher speeds. if you look at quoted figures though, there both heavy and I think the Soop is naturally quicker.... just doesn't feel it
  4. as far as I understand its something to do with suspension. I had a gtr33 and the suspension was hard enough on that in my opinion!! oh and I think the V PEC had an oil cooler
  5. Mitsubishi GTO!!!!! I have never driven one but I understand that they are one of the worst cars around. EVO mag described it as one of the 10 worst cars and I was reading performance car from 1993 doing a review of the then newly released Supra describing how its main challenger was the GTO and how it battered it in every department!!! I'd have a nissan 300 zx over the mustang and GTO but if it had to be auto a soop and Ilove RX7's never heard of an auto but I've been put off by engine rebuild stories!!
  6. trouble is I paid £20 for a small one as the bigger ones were too expensive and I believe they take years to grow!! I'm moving soon so I'll dig it up and take it!!
  7. I've had my bird of paradise for about 8 years and never flowered!! brought them home from tenerife as well!!! I've got a monkey puzzle that I kep waiting to grow
  8. cheers for that. I haven't been driving like a loon and I know Piehound before me didn't as well so seems to be a problem with way the car is set up. I shall have to get that checked! cheers
  9. I've got this car now- the silver button makes the car goes seriously quick on a long stretch of road did anyone ever work out what the switch is connected to and will it damage the engine in anyway. What I need to know I suppose, has anyone else got same conversion
  10. As you may know I'm new to Supra owning, had mine 2 1/2 weeks. my rear tyres are bald and I can see from invoices that they were only replaced 4500 miles ago and before then about another 5000 miles!!!!!!!!!!!![sHOCK][/sHOCK] Is this normal? if not thats quite shocking use of tyres!! If normal what harder wearing tyres do you guys run and how long do they last
  11. cheers for the replies. I'll use some brake cleaner tonight . hey've been doing it for about two weeks now so no sign of it fading!! almost as annoying as the squeaky window wiper in my last car!!!
  12. my brakes are squeaking and sometimes when they are not applied they have an annoying squeak which stops when brakes are applied! what can cause this? (the squeak is doing my head in)
  13. simonas

    Sky Insurance

Admiral beat Sky with 480 and Sky tried but couldn't come close. first time I've changed from previous best tesco for a while
  14. I'd have the porsche 911 if it was a turbo or racier version I've never driven one but I believe there fantastic handling sports cars and although I'm new to supra ownership I wouldn't describe it as a superb handling car more of a sports tourer with bags of power. Looks of Supra probably better due to exclusivety but I do like the 993 Porsche very good shape and if I had cash I would like one. New 911's in my opinion look to fat and refined though
  15. cheers for replys!! I'll leave it as it is cos I was always convinced that my other cars suffered to them . but I do miss the noise. the apexi in my s14 sounded brilliant in my opinion
  16. good stuff that explains it. so when I replace tyres I should go with the same. You can see the difference in profiles though which is what annoys me!!
  17. every car I've had lately has had an apexi induction kit in and the soop I have just bought hasn't. Is there any benefit to be actually gained in the twin turbo soop with having one and which would be the make to go for? do they require 2 like my GTR did or one? I'm a soop novice so need to ask these silly questions sorry! Simon
  18. I just bought my supra last week and noticed that on the front the car has 245/40zr 18's yet on rear 255/35 zr18's The profile is bigger on the rear than on front. should it be other way round and should there be a difference anyway. I only ask as I think it looks a bit odd!!! cheers
  19. I used to live in Farnborough when I was a student. very strange place what do you make of it? I used t live on the MOD land next to runway
  20. went past on Hoylake Rd waved!
  21. and love it I can't believe how much lazy power these cars have. Mines an auto so tend to just cruise around but when open space in front it just bursts forward with stab of the acceloerator... They drink a bit too much juice for my liking especially with optimax being £1 a litre!! not as involving to drive as my old 200sx or skyline which is only gripe perhaps but I like the combination of refined ness and power!!!
  22. went to New York for 30th this year and its just the best place I have ever been. you will not be bored and basically its just good to walk around the place and eat and drink as you go cos all the sights are all around you. Manhattan isn't as big as you would expect so everywhere is reachable. Statton Island feery is good and free and takes you by Statue of Liberty and you get awesome views of Manhattan Island as you come up river
  23. lol considered that one!!! I go thru the get rid of the dog thing about once a month. there must be a connection there somewhere!!!
  24. I was gutted he did that only because HE;S MY FAVOURITE EVR PLAYER. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PLAYER TO WATCH AND i ACTUALLY wanted France to win because of him and because Itlay were one of the worst teams I have seen to win world cup!! he'll still go down as one of best ever though
