    Cam-belt

You can easily tell apart a VVTI to none VVTi, the VVTI's have a lump on the front of the nearside/intake camshaft which you can see with the spark plug cover. I dont know the specific engine code, but it's still a 2jz-gte. None VVTI VVTI. If you're going to the trouble of taking the belt off, id replace the water pump, tensioners and the crank pulley if its not new.
  2. The only time you comment on the forum is when somebodies died....
  3. I wanted a gunmetal 6 speed originally, but went for the rare GZ aerotop and done quite a bit of work to it to get it how i want it. My 3rd supra also. First was a silver tt aero 2nd was a silver tt 6 speed and now mine.
  4. you need some wind deflectors then
  5. Hi Guys, Just tidying my office space up at home and i've found some blue tinted plastic which is used to convert the supra clock/odometer to a blue light. I have 4 pieces available which should be enough to do both the clock and odometer. Just cover the postage £1.50 for me and they are free.
  6. I'm pretty sure there is a alternative for the auto fluid, perhaps ask Oilman for a definitive answer or check the FAQ
  7. a few new pics here from a little meet in sheffield with others.
  8. Single turbo on something with only 15% of the tyre surface on the street, it probably wont be around long. Silly, dangerous idea.
  9. Thanks guys, I took the first set, Naz (Supra UFO) took the 2nd set. Nikon 800 was the camera used for mine, Naz's was a Canon 5D MK3, for who asked. Chris, i think Drew is keeping the offsets pretty close to his chest, a bit like me with mine! lol

  11. Hi Guys, A few of us from Sheffield and nearby areas decided to have a little mini meet last night for some pics. Drew_007 had just fitted his new wheels (eventually) and Naz has his new rims so we decided to get a few of us together for a few pictures, Supra_UFO (Naz) also came down from Huddersfield for the festivities. So please see the pics below of Drew's lovely RSP TT6 with the new works miesters along with Naz's shining beauty and my Ridox of course, let us know how you like them. I'm looking forward to seeing Naz's pics too, Drew's iPhone pics, if he really wants too Thanks for looking!

    Here's a Curler?

The shell website makes many mentions of doing the phone bit "inside your car" So effectively, they aren't breaking the rules on your 2nd link.
  13. Blue tints are easy to get hold of, i think the green tints are discontinued or very difficult to get. I had the blue fitted to mine, previous windscreen had no tint, you can fit any.
  14. looks good stevo, as i said at the wroxall meet, you need to do some stuff for me!
  15. Come on chris.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-33685851
  16. Sounds like above, 3 simple tests. Brim the brake fluid, try again. If not, do you still have the active spoiler ECU connected? if so, disconnect it, it will show warning light if it detects no spoiler. 3rd, Read the codes and see whats what.
  17. oems spats - pre-facelift Oem spats - facelift (have cutout for the rear light)
  18. But thats why the needles are off, the spindles will still move (be in the position it thinks it is) but you'd position the needle where it actually is. Then it should always be the same
  19. Electric vehicles will never be the future until producing the electricity and batteries is cleaner, i'd like to say Hydrogen cell cars are the future, but again, pretty dirty behind the façade.
  20. I think the only way it can be done is to take the needles off, drive at 10mph via GPS speed, pop the needle back on and see how it goes. Usually the same deal once you've took the needles off to fit new dials.
  21. Tom Tom app on your phone with europe maps. done. Doesn't need internet on your phone just uses the GPS chip and the maps are loaded on the phone, navigation, anywhere you have your phone, i dont even know why people would buy a 2nd unit. You can't import GPX's directly into the app, but theres other ways of doing it with POI's and favourites.
  22. This is correct, should not flash. Flashing OD may give code 42, speed sensor, either sensor dodgy or usually a rubbish speedo converter, check the codes.
