  1. Cheers Rob, this is the only picture i have of it to hand, although the 89 is different the part numbers where the same as yours as on my standard ecu.
  2. The sticker has the exact same part code as my existing one. I was looking for a mines one for a while and i know they can be had in auto and manual ones.
  3. there is a UK 6 speed on ebay for 13k, baby blue colour. Well, there was, ended 15 minutes ago http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131789581277?clk_rvr_id=1020303198249&rmvSB=true
  4. Hi Guys, I have some strange problems which seem to be plaguing the car the last 2 days and hopefully somebody can shed some light as they are confusing. I've had zero problems with the auto gearbox in my TT since I bought it, the oil is correct, the colour and smell is what you'd expect, not burnt and a nice red. Last week i fitted a 2JZ-GTE Auto MINES ecu which is the usual modified type, I've emailed mines with the serial number to confirm what exactly had been done with the ECU but they've not replied yet, i know nobody can know until then and probably a bit daft to fit it without knowing! After the ECU was fitted, the car ran fine I didn't notice much difference in how the car was, perhaps a little louder more low down torque from the bum dyno. The car was run 30 minutes after fitting but I didn't actually take it for a drive anywhere. During driving down to japfest a few things started to happen: The OD button was not operating as it used too, turning OD OFF would put the car into 2nd gear nearly 4k rpm and it would drop into 3rd but instead of accelerating from there as soon as i touched the peddle it would drop back down into 2nd and just rev the nuts off it. it would also change up into OD (with it off) the gears were allover the place. Note - i removed the OD/MANU lights from my cluster a while back so i can't see what lights (if any) are flashing, i've never had the MIL light come on, or any other warning ones. After driving back from Japfest i stopped off at a friends house roughly 40 mins from silverstone, when i arrived i got more issues: Reverse would not engage, The lights lit up, the beeping was working but the car just rev'd as if it was in neutral. Because of this i thought i'd try a ECU reset so i left the battery disconnected overnight. This morning I started the car up, reverse worked straight away however it was now D which was giving issues, it felt as if the auto box was slipping, 2-4k RPM in D to just pull away from a standstill. However starting from a standstill in 1, 2 was fine? the OD button was still acting strange. I carried on my journey, perhaps 3-4 miles into it D was operating as you'd expect with no slip. When i got home (100 miles later) i tried reverse, it worked, then literally 20 seconds later it didn't, same issue just revving as if it was in neutral i took the car around the block and reverse worked again... very strange. Because i've not seen any of these issues before i was convinced it was electrical, perhaps down to the mines ECU after seeing this thread I've refitted the standard ECU to my car and all the problems have now gone, reverse engaged every time (25 attempts) I've also taken it on a 30 mile drive, all gears, OD etc work as they did before. Can anybody comment on the issues I've had, did the Mines ecu really cause all the issues? or is it something else?
  5. Good pic, stand was great, good location on the grounds up high although the wind made it freeezing Trust me to disappear for 10 minutes to get a pasty as we got that haha. We didn't need to go through a tunnel either!
  6. Gets your car's project name out there ellis
  7. Big job Alex, I'd hate to think how much you've spent on this car changing your mind all the time! but that's the game i suppose. As you're going for a full strip, why not look at a different silver rather than OEM? One of the aston martin silvers would be my choice, stock ish but with "more" Doesn't Japan have silly tax rates for old cars? it's the reason they are all exported isn't it?
  8. I've just fitted the mishimoto one, fits great. a few suppliers sell them, SRD or BGAutoworx
  9. I don't understand the 12v mod, is this needed for all fuel pumps? I've just fitted a 255 walbro and the car runs fine? And of course, if it's not relayed it will remain constantly powering the pump in the case of a accident which is not what you want at all. Or is it only the larger pumps what need this?
  10. No, as everybody has said, even Peter and Christian (which should be enough) But it's your Ferrari, try it.

  18. Hi Guys, Another update here, things are getting ready for japfest! I was starting to get into a pickle with tools in the garage (which is tiny already) so i got myself a slimline tool box to put in garage Some of you might remember i was having issues with a leaky aerotop (even after new seals) around a year back, this cause my dyed carpet to fade a little and go a little brown, so i decided to re-dye the carpet (Thanks to supra_ufo for the dye) Before: After: Some pics of the sound deadening under the carpets while they are up (cables were tidied up before putting it back): I got a little help from the wife cleaning the engine bay up (she wont like me posting this lol) Fitted my turned aluminum heater knobs to fit the rest of the dashboard. When the carpet was back down i went ahead and fitted my Do-Luck floor brace. Truth be told i nearly gave up with this, it was a pain to fit and i wouldn't like to do it again. I've got a dash cam fitted to my daily drive and the missus's car, so i decided to get the same one for the supra, i really like these units, they are tiny, fit behind the mirror and can be forgotten about. Just needs a ignition live, fits great really happy with it. Thanks for looking, see you at Japfest.
  19. quite a few bits left here. Can take any wanted bits to Japfest.
  20. Cheers Luxluc. MOT in a hours time, shouldn't be nervous it's not hardly done any mileage from last MOT, but I always am! Update: Passed with no advisories, yey.
