  1. MOT passed. I always get nervous but the car has everything it needs so i suppose it should. Going to change the oil and filter next and hopefully get to some meets and shows when possible.

There are codes specific to the trac ecu. you can read them off and get the specific problem it's seeing.
  3. MOT day tomorrow. Pray for the fixed ABS issue to remain fixed.
  4. serious air lock or failing radiator.
  5. He didnt leave the nut half on trying to get the old steering wheel off and knocking himself out removing it.
  6. 500-750 considering they need to be put back to silver.
  7. I think he maybe away for the weekend given his facebook. He will reply soon enough im sure.
  8. I cut out the pin holding them together and machined a new pin out of an bolt. with a small nut on the end.
  9. Cheers, To update the new relays didnt help. The old ones tested ok anyways but was worth a try for the low cost. However the ABS issue is now fixed. Ended up needing a new ABS ECU. Sods law the most inaccessible thing on the car given the mess most stereo wirings is in these cars. Best i can figure is that the ECU was only sending the signal to the engine bay relays perhaps 60% of the time. This is why it was really intermittent. All the troubleshooting from the manuals regarding the wiring loom and actuator tested OK. Finally time for the MOT now.
  10. LEDS have difference resistances to normal bulbs. Thats why it throws on the bulb warning light. You have to fit resistors to each bulb. Somebody might know another solution mind. I know i removed the bulb when i fitted my LED lights. For the indicators flashing quicker you can get an LED relay flasher for that.
  11. A friend of mine has a source for ABS sensors they are tried and tested around £40 each i think. He might actually be on the forum. Andy Ventress
  12. Small update as im trying to get the car ready for it's MOT. Finally solved my airbag issue. which turned out to be a crushed cable behind the airbag itself. Makes a change that the error code gave some useful info being shorted to ground. I cut out the damaged part, soldered and heatshrinked the cable again with Yellow heat-shrink. Next was something what has bugged me for a while but i've never bothered fixing. Screenwash leaking from the pump area on the bottle. A fun task, removing half of the car to access it. One new seal later and everything is fine. Im still chasing an issue with my ABS. It's very intermittent which makes it hard to troubleshoot as most of the time the Light goes out as you'd expect and probably 20% of the time it stays on giving code 11. I have some new relays coming which hopefully fixes it. Otherwise it's a loom/ECU problem. So that will be the next thing on the shopping list. Boring update really Thanks for looking.
  13. Cheers dude it's just black Plastidip. Very light finishing coats to give the speckled effect. Didn't get the notification for a reply so a little delayed.

If you get the cruise control aftermarket boss (i think whifbitz sell them) You can take out the buttons and extend the wiring into the column plastic like i did. Means you still get cruise and don't need the manky stick out stalk.
  16. I've often thought about respraying mine 1a1.
  17. Great news. Had to be something simple.
  18. Not sure they have cigarette lighters on running shoes. Always had good experiences with Anker devices.
  19. A fabric Dye of some kind might work. They have kind of a plastic finish though. Might take some experimentation.
  20. AB does great work. Same chap did the interior panels on my car.
  21. The only other thing will be the flaps inside the heater box. Perhaps it's not rerouting the air away from the heat exchanger. I remember an old thread where somebody had heater issues and a little arm which controlled the flaps had come off under neath the glove box. Worth a check for nothing. Thinking about it, i expect the temp sensor only comes into play when it's in AUTO it shouldn't matter if you just set cool and leave it there. really.
  22. The interior temp sensor is behind the little 1cmx1cm grill above the cigarette lighter.
  23. Somebody over on Supra forums sorta made a list. https://www.supraforums.com/threads/trd3000gt-cars.1118747/
  24. Theres always somebody who knows in this small community. He needs new headlights, his bonnet aligning and a legal numberplate. Can't be that good
