  5. Yeah its horrible when it gets sticky.. i did mine the other weekend just make sure you keep adding a small amount of thinners after every caliper
  6. Hiho chaps and chapetts It looks like the problem i maybe having is of a seized viscous fan and coupling from what i read on the posts.. (Doesent spin very much when pushed with engine off and sounds like a jet engine when revving the car) So, as above this is required cash waiting for good cond one Ric.
  7. Egh Should my auto be making clutch type smells after a quick foot to the floor episode? although i didnt get close to the breaks to smell those, but i cant remember stomping on those :/
  8. the smic is pretty worn tbh i was looking at getting this replaced, what are the prices for a decent standard one? Can martin help on this one?
  9. turn the ignition on (but not start the car) press the down button, it should stay down locked then Afaik? Again, i dont have one so i might be wrong
  10. Hi all Ive not had my sup so long so i dont know what the normal behavior is in this type of weather.. Today when i started it up after work i set off. i come to a junction not far away i try not to give it any untill its warmed up fully. the water temp was about a quarter of the way up and thanks to a X5 driver come steaming up the road i had to hurry pretty sharpish out of this junction.. Now, it may have just been my mind but the car hardly seemed to shift and the 2nd blower didnt seem to do much. The whole way home also it seemed to lack the power (Not massively) it had this morning. Is this down to the heat and heatsoke of my airfilter? Its bone standard other than my airfilter i have on there. may look at putting the standard box back on if this could be the cause? Many Thanks Ric.

    Supra purchased

Hi all new member here again apart from my "hello" post. Purchased the supra last night which ive been looking at for a week heh, some details below: 94 (L) TT jspec in silver completly standard (only wheels if my celica ones will fit ) Gave her a polish and some loving treatment but requires a touch of paintwork here and there as it was cheapish but the engine was rock on Pictures later! Ric.
  22. stud remover (the ones with the left handed corkscrew effect) once a small hole is drilled, insert that and remove then some tapping maybe needed.
