if you flash your hardware before you connect & update then they cant trace it (well havent traced mine), but if u've updated the xbox then flash the drive you'll end up with a nice xbox shaped brick which will just give error 66 all the time

yes foglight has to be there (and on the offside) or its a failure, only lights you dont need on the rear are reverse lights

the white and yellow should be the map sensor wire, but for which wire goes to which side (ecu or loom side) i couldnt advise. try to find a wiring diagram off ebay or from one of the traders who sell that unit.
