TBH HID's in the stock lights are fine and perfectly light up the road. You want 4000k for them just to be white, rather than blue. Yes the MOT rules now make it a bit harder, so you'd probably be better with some 4k LEDS

From a servicing perspective it's quite a cheap car, imo. The oil, filters, plugs etc could probably be done for £150 if you do it yourself. Regarding anything else its a very open question, if your car doesn't need anything it's cheap, if it needs some new suspension arms its going to cost a lot. Aging cars these days might need the below: Suspension arms circa 300-400 each valve stem seals - £550 job plus parts replacement turbos - £1000 plus fitting Coil packs - £300-400 for OEM coils Radiators (cracked top tank) - £250-450 Coil pack clips - £30-50 worn/cracked pipes - £10-100 Brakes - £300-600

Is it the bushes or the ball joint? the ball joints can't be replaced. Edit, after reading again, it would appear bushes, should be fairly easy to find, i have a old set coming up soon which are fine but not for sale yet

The whifbitz one is not really an OEM replacement, its more for a car with modifications, like a FMIC which removes the coolant expansion tank etc.

IMO unless you're hardcore track usage i would just go with glass. Plastic will always scratch up and not look right very quickly IMO if you're driving it normally and washing it normally. New glass or one in mint condition with a new seal will look perfect.
