Just sorted mine out relief Blowing exhaust causing overboost 1.4 bar heh last night and my high pitched noise was a loose nut on the reed valve causing a little leak thank god for that eh

vista struggles with some hardware mate, so make sure your hardware is 100% compatible with it, as for the 64bit version it would be even worse, i had xp64 and all my hardware wouldn't work because nobody made 64bit drivers for anything. Im running vista ultimate 32bit atm and thats pretty nice. Just make sure auto updates are turned off to avoid little situations like that

More whine when more boost makes sense as the blowers are working harder, i ment.... When your on boost then let off the accelerator does the whine briefly go up in pitch before going away

no mate, ive that that mysterious whine before and it was my bov, this is diffrent if its same to what geo is experianceing The first turbo spins fine, then about 3k the 2nd turbo starts to spin but its a higher pitch than mine used to be anyway i think

Knackered battery, try another one even if it is fully charged. Or if you could smell burning while starting the starter motor could be knackered as greg says. I would try the cheaper option first with a new or borrowed battery

Too high? You sure the rad is in place correctly? IE the rubber feet in the holes right? I have a fluidyne rad and mine fits, but then again i dont know the diffrences to the koyos top tank

I wouldn't personally with no history. Wear at 59k my cars seeing 82k and the leather was perfect, If its a new import try and obtain a BITMA (i think thats the spelling) certificate, it will tell you the mileage it left japan with Quite a high price tag NA's have been going for 2-3k in some sales.

There is a little plastic cog inside or around the motor which disintegrates and all the little teeth on the cog come off which means you need a new motor AFAIK anyway

TT or NA ? If its TT its good value too cheap check it throughly, If its NA its borderline expensive
