  1. aux belt tentioner is a 10 minute job to change, nothing has to come off bar the spark plug cover, top timing cover and the belt itself Going nowhere near the cambelt, if you wanted to change this a lot more stuff has to come off, usually aux tentioners start to make noise before breaking The crank pulley (dampener) if that is what you are meaning, costs around 130 from nic, a fan belt is 10quid and you might as well change the timing belt and timing belt tentioner £60quid ish for both both an easy job But probably not for you as you dont have the space

  5. i got all the parts for around 120 you need: 12x inlet stem seals 12x exhaust stem seals 2x cam cover gasket 2x camshaft oil seals the 2 breather hoses in the middle of the covers is usually a good buy U need a decent valve stem removal tool and a special tool to knock out the retainers and collets, if you're careful you can do it with a socket
  6. yes stem seals, not a hard job if you're confident, hardest part is getting the camcovers off :/

    timing

    you dont need one Set the crank pully to 0 on the groove, make sure piston 1 is at tdc and align the camshaft pullys with arrows to the points on the no4 timing cover
  14. arnt they pretty much the same engine as the NA supra, or is that the is300?

  16. yes The timing should be set at 0 degrees with piston 1 at TDC
  17. double check the timing and check the coolant temp sensor, you getting any error codes? double check all coil pack connectors too

    Brake Upgrade

    slam on at 150 a few times have some eggs and bacon ready to cook and you're set
  19. full kit? wheres the front wings?
  20. spark plug cover off. and the top timing belt cover you will then see 3 12mm (i think) bolts holding it on a 14mm nut is required to take the aux belt off the tentioner before you do any of that
