  1. I keep hearing "when people put a 2jz in it" Sure some people who are just track might do such a thing, but is anybody who wants a road car going to do it? surely the car would never pass an MOT with the changed emissions from the 2jz etc.

    Audi S5

I had a 2008 S5 for 5 years, other than servicing and a new AC pressure sensor and regas it wanted nothing. was a very reliable car. Servicing was around 250-350 depending what it needed that was at Audi too. As with all the FSI V8's audi make they sometimes suffer from Carbon issues but i can't say mine ever did. Or it didnt show symptoms. Mine was also remapped with the miltek exhaust. Sounded lovely the triptronic was good, newer ones have the dual clutch but you lose the V8. Only really got rid as i needed 4 doors with a new baby. So went to the B8 RS4, same engine pretty much. https://www.carbonangel.co.uk/imagedump/S5/finese/background800.jpg With handling to can tell it's a heavy car but i never tracked mine or did anything silly. Felt nice on some spirited drives however.
  3. Just tracking or full alignment? you'd need the latter.
  4. I was really hoping the wheels on the car weren't the finished ones. Guess they are
  5. Since when are they not glass? never knew this? I got rid of some pretty stubborn water marks on mine with some polishing compound and a small rotary head. Even then, took a while.
  6. and still no good pictures on here showing, interior, outside, engine bay..
  7. That is a shame. Just goes to show even though the UK TT6 commands a lot of money it's still a UK car and will have the associated gremlins. Littlenum from Performance at Hart can do underbody restorations for not a lot of money (IMO) It would be worth letting him take a look before writing the car off and selling.. you'd be sitting on a gold mine afterwards. Mine has just recently had the same work done you can see the build thread in my signature.

    V161 prices???

Fosta on this forum has just installed the t56, first supra in the UK with one i think hes big power too, he said it's brilliant, albeit similar price with all the bits in it, about 5/6k
  10. Think the south yorkshire rules are 10% +2mph So getting in trouble would be 79mph. Ill let somebody else test it though.

    Water Pump

No they are different. AFAIK Although it could be that the front section is the same and the rear section is different only, im not sure.
  12. This sort of thing grinds my gears. His contract is with Hidden performance, not this bloke who's no longer with the company. Trying to place all the blame on a guy who no longer works there and then saying the company (who has the contract to do the job) has done all they can and is a super duper company all whilst trying to wash their hands is complete bollocks to put it lightly. Sort out their mess not palm it off. As for blasting them? All he's put is the chronological order of events, he'd not being malice or angry IMO. if the truth is considered "blasting" perhaps they need to look into their service more.
  13. those still flash. 2 Units, 1 camera 1 flash
  14. I had all this when i was trying to sell mine. Everybody saying you could get the same for 500quid brand new... You just cant. Try calling and actually ordering them.. Oh sorry sir we can't actually get the stock. Its £900+ once you take into account the VAT

    Respray time!!

    Looks like Renault liquid yellow
  16. Think this fella has stopped selling these, he seems to have disappeared
  17. Sure: https://www.carmagazine.co.uk/car-reviews/toyota/supra-coupe/ Shame i can't read it because i use an adblocker. Websites what do this are beyond low.
  18. Why didn't you take it to a specialist? Now you're deeper in with somebody who obviously doesn't know the engine. "The black death" in other words he doesn't know, he just knows it's broken and wants to charge you all in the world to fix something it probably isn't.
  19. You know there are 2 butterfly valves in the throttle body? One is for the traction control. It's likely you only saw one and saw that it was closed, you should open one and see the other.

    ECU refurbed

Did you have a problem before?
  21. The outside of the car not that charred considering the massive deal they making of it. New battery costs are around 10-14k
  22. Im sure Keron will have one of these, extremeperformance Leicester
  23. Nice buy Greg, Would be good to see the price back in the sale thread so people know how to price their cars when selling and helps with the agreed values for insurance.
  24. Somebody else recently had this im not sure who, he replaced arms, bushes etc and in the end it was the tyres.
