Morning guys and gals, A small update to the thread, not much has been happening lately with the car. Attended a few shows and managed to win 2nd place best of show which was fun. First place was a 1 of 1 NSX which was a worthy winner. I've had a small leak on my steering rack for the better part of a year so decided to eventually get it fixed with a referbished rack from Andy @ Unrivaled Supras this brought up another issue afterwards and the PS pump decided it didnt want to pump anymore so we fitted a referbed pump also. Thanks for Andy for the quick turnaround. I also fitted some of SRD's new jacking pucks which should make future work easier and changed the diff oil and recharged the AC.

Hi Guys, I have for sale my unused Gosling Racing seat frames. They are really low profile and fit great. I only used these for testing some seats i was hoping to fit but ultimately didnt use them. A few marks from testing one seat on the drivers side. Comes with the Harness frame so you can attach the seatbelt buckle. You'd only need some generic sliders if you want to be able to move your seats. £175 + delivery or collection from Sheffield. If paypal buyer pays all fees. https://www.goslingracing.com/product-page/supra-mk4-seat-frame-kit

I use the IK bottles for foam. There is a set here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07PJT7Y71/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Depends what you wanted to use it for? its a good size for wheels etc and foams great but you'd struggle doing the whole car. Needs pumping up after every wheel pretty much.

The bodyshop said my kit fit extremly well, It was a ShineAuto kit from Whifbitz. However i think the ridox kit they sell now is not ShineAuto parts perhaps you can ask them if they can still source them.

purchased mine, will the tickets get emailed or send in the post?

I sent my old ones over to SGS, they take off the oem brackets and put them on their own versions. Works great

I don't think you're going to get any that are fully "legit" as they didnt exist from the factory. Harry from Supraledrears will probably be the best to ask. https://www.supraledrears.com/home/Oem-Headlight-Conversion-p400673752

The prices are already stupid for public none tesla chargers shell and others already want 80p per kWh at their fast chargers. if you drive very well you'd be pushed to get 4 miles per kWh on most EVs so it's very expensive. considering I can charge at home and get a "full tank" 300miles for £4 the same charge on one of shells would be over £50 i can't see hydrogen taking off, again infrastructure. They'd have to wait until all the gas is gone and possibly use those pipes. Which is a long long way off also the government is already putting people off EVs come 2025 they are removing the zero road tax and charging the £40k luxury car tax that EVs currently don't have most EVs are over that cost so it will be loads more expensive to own one come 2025

To be honest im not suprised and think it's probably a good thing. I have an EV for the daily drive which is a Tesla and luckly they have a decent fast charging network (if you're not charging from home) If you don't use their network you're in for a rough time, not many chargers or the ones that do exist charge incredable amounts to use they are genrally slow and/or they are broken. The grid in the UK just won't be able to cope with millions of EV's charging overnight at the same time. The infrastructure will take years and years to do.

Good day all, a small update to my thread here. (Edit, i rotated the images but the forum seems to ignore it?) Some might have seen via my sales thread for the Ftype seats i wasnt really getting on with the seating position of them. They would suit somebody not as tall as they sat quite high. So i decided to try and find some Recaro CS Sportsters which i've sat in before and found they quite comfortable whilst still looking great. In a sweep of major luck i found some which had already been retrimmed in a red leather extreamly close to my other items i had done. So i bought these had alcantara backs also. I needed some replacement CS frames as they came with some butchered renault frames originally. I ended up using my OEM recaro sliding frames from the confetti seats as they fit straight on there although i might change these in future to bring the seating position lower more. Here im testing the fit (i replaced the bolts later for some proper tensile ones. When the new seats were trimmed they had heating pads installed. I wired these up to a waterproof automotive connector for future use. Finally installed. Using the OEM frames made finishing the edge of the frame easy with the plastic trim what is included. Thanks for looking

SupraUFO on here had a similar issue. He also changed crank sensor, water temp sensors but it turned out the problem was a loose ground under the inlet manifold. Same issue, crank without start, RPM needle bouncing around

quite flammable stuff that spray adhesive though, wouldnt be spraying it in engine bay im sure thered be other options. Perhaps even a rubber edge protector to cover up the seam would work? Like what you'd put on a door edge to stop you scuffing it

Good morning guys & gals. Im looking to sell the project seats for my Supra. They are originally from an Jaguar Ftype. Performance seats. They have been retrimmed in Hotspur Nappa Leather with Alcantara rears and are in mint condition. They are ready to fit into another supra as they are fitted on JohnD's low profile frames that he used to do on the forum. They are incredablly hard to find with Manual slide (forward backwards) as they are usually electric. The recline and height is electric but they can be wired upto a 12v switch (the wiring is already modified for this as i used that function) You will need your exisiting seatbelt buckles which will bolt onto the frame. The seats also don't tilt forward to give access to the backseats (mine had rear seat delete) Ready to collect now, Collection only (Sheffield, Junc 31 m1) £2500 to club members. Reason for sale is i find the driving position slightly too high for me and i've bought other seats to change to. I work outside of the country if anybody is interested they are available to pickup upto the 17th of May. Next available start of August.
