There are plenty of nice 6 speeds about, or maybe buy a fresh import? Or maybe you budget isn't quite large enough for a 6 speed, hence you can't find any............ -

depends what you want from the car, if it's to get you to work then i wouldn't bother, if its to burn a tank of fuel on a sunny sunday then i'd say go for it.
