  1. All done and looking good. Big thanks for this guide, i wouldnt have even attempted the job without it.
  2. I'll be at JAE, so i'll have a slightly drunken wander over to the stand for a look at some point. Thanks guys.
  3. Not too loud though? whats it like on idle? and does the bung rattle about when it's fitted like my Nur spec did on my old MR2? Any pics? and where from and how much? Sorry for all the questions but im a total nooooob to supras (only owned it for a week).
  4. That's a damn good idea. either that or black anyway. Unfortunately i havent got any paint so ive just touched up with silver for now but i will definately paint them properly when i have more time. Passenger side is complete, drivers side to do later today.
  5. I'd like peoples opinions on exhausts for the N/A, i'd like something that looks nice and has a quality sound to it, not too loud, fairly quiet on tickover and a nice roar at full chat would be good. What are the options? possible sources and rough prices would be nice too. Cheers chaps.
  6. Jake mine also reads in km still, the clock itself is in km/h still, it reads up to 180km/h. there is no delimiter as far as i can see.
  7. it goes to 180. I had the dash apart today and cant see anything there that shouldnt be. It all looks bone stock. The clock reads in km still, i tried to see if it was delimited today but ran out of road (not enough power lol) so im assuming it's limited still.
  8. I'm getting this code but the car is standard with no delimiter or anything, any ideas?
  9. Started doing the passenger side light, got the lens cover off easy enough after 5 mins in the oven. The silver surround inside has gone funny in places, some of the chrome effect stuff has come off, not sure what to do really, touch up with silver paint? what would you guys do?
  10. How hot doe sthe oven need to be? going to try this today but don't want to melt the lights!
  11. sorry to interrupt and be a total noob, but on your pic, where is the map sensor? i need to know as i have error code 31 indicating a knackered sensor. thanks.
  12. ive got code 31 on my N/A, so obviously i have no FCD. What else could the problem be? ive checked connections etc. that i can see. Is the sensor itself broken? expensive to replace? cheers.
  13. There is no fag packet sized thingy on my intake, only sensor i can find is a plug in sensor probe thing in the back of the airbox. Could this be it?
  14. Thanks, i'll have a look and see what happens.
  15. Got this code (along with code 42 but i know what that is) I know its the air mass sensor or MAF or whatever its called, but where exactly is it? Is it a simple case of replacing the sensor? or can i fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated as i only got the car today so don't really know my way around it yet.

    Code 42 Fix

and this actually cures the problem properly? I have a 1993 J-spec N/A showing the same error code. (only bought it today and dont know where anything is yet!) Which bit of dash needs removing? Pics would help hehe!
