  1. sounds good, keep us informed.
  2. Well when i push the switch to move the seat forward i can hear the motor click and sort-of 'buzz' like it's trying to work. Oh well once its in the right position (only a couple of inches from the furthest back position) i guess i'll be happy and won't need to move it again.
  3. Thanks mate, ive had a good look round underneath the seat but can't see a way to do it myself. The reason im trying to get it out is to fix the electric adjuster, if there is a way to adjust it manually then i'll just do that and sod the electrics
  4. Good man! What are your plans for it?
  5. Imagine it with the housing mirror polished with a round piece of glass on the top, would make a lovely coffee table for my living room, what you reckon the Mrs would say....
  6. How do you move the seat forward though if the electric adjuster is knackered?
  7. Can't get a socket on with a bar or ratchet attached. Any way to adjust the seat manually? if i could move it forward on the runners i could probably get to the bolt.
  8. Yes the seat is blocking access, i can get a ring spanner on it but then there is no room at all to turn it. Is there a way to manually adjust the seat forwards? as the seat is currently as far back as it will go and the electric adjuster is boogered.
  9. Ive just done my ashtray lid with acetone based nail varnish remover and a scouring pad, easy peasy.
  10. He's in London at a football tournament until Monday or Tuesday i think mate.
  11. Part way through removing my drivers seat to try and fix the electric adjustment that doesn't currently work properly and ive undone the 4 main bolts holding the seat down. How do i get the last bolt out? (the one the goes in horizontally into the centre tunnel) the position of it is stopping me getting a spanner or socket on the bolt, how do you guys do it?

    na-t kit

Please keep us informed especially regarding how complete the kit is as i fancy fitting it myself if it saves lots of money.

    na-t kit

I went out with GazzaGSI in his car last weekend and it's truly phenomenal! I'm in the process of saving/borrowing to afford the kit myself, i'll be using turbofit by the look of it as the workmanship looks 2nd to none! Just a little pricey at over £4000 fitted but i couldnt sell my N/A and put £4k towards it and get a TT with the same power as i will have with the N/A-T kit.
  15. Ive got 1 too, im near Leicester.
  16. get 2 54mm and join them together, sounds silly but it works.
  17. Hi guys, just a quick 1, my bro has come round so i can help him change the oil on his DIESEL transit van, he's bought normal 0w-30 GTX magnatec oil to put in, is this ok to use or does he need oil specific for a diesel engine? urgent answers would be appreciated. cheers.
  18. Sounds like a good plan though! before you know it, it'll be big single and the full works! Ive still got your old MR2 in my garage, had it out tonight actually to take a few more bits off to sell (ganador mirrors and Rev6 exhaust) going out in the turbo'd supe at the weekend was the incentive i needed to get it sorted out and sold.
  19. Indeed it is! Not a bad price for the conversion though, 380bhp at the hubs which would take the total amount spent on my car to about £6k (including buying it!) which is phenomanomanomanel value for money! What have you got planned then? 6speed manual TT? planning on modding?
  20. Cerbera or supra? hmmm tough choice! Ive already got one mate, only an N/A though, until ive saved enough for the N/A-t conversion i'm planning. Went in a guys converted N/A on sunday and it set me off
  21. Funny seeing you here Jay! didn't realise you were after a supra! Welcome anyway
  22. I accidentally removed some of the rubber from my dash with nail polish remover the proper stuff containing acetone (was trying to remove some glue a previous owner had left behind). Once soaked in, the rubber simply rubs off with a cloth.
