  1. Well the mrs has just texted him (he communicates by text, very professional) saying we are confused as to why we should pay for it, and he has replied with "This is how i do it, which i explain to all new tennants when they move in" well he never explained it to us. What would your reply be to this text?
  2. A little help please guys, Myself and the mrs live in a rented property, the problem is that the landlord wants a service done on the gas boiler (his choice, not a legal requirement). The problem is that he thinks that we should pay for this (around £80). I'm pretty adamant that im not paying, am i right to think this?
  3. No way bro, that's god damn Denzel Washington.
  4. Unlucky, but you kind of got what you deserved and i guess you might think twice about doing it again as there's really no excuse for it is there? What do hands-free kits cost these days? no offence.
  5. My mrs has just bought an 06 plate 5 door ST3 in blue with black leather Jamie, its a really nice car and goes well to be fair, i think it's the perfect compromise to be honest. Good luck.
  6. may i pm you with a question that has nothing to do with tyres? honestly
  7. Hi Ollie, i believe i'm due a small refund from when i changed my vehicle, it's been a while now and i havent yet received it. Could you chase this up for me? thanks.
  8. when i click that link it says its £44.49 ? edit: now i click it again it says £25.99, how odd.
  9. think the tyres are 235 wide, no idea on offset. i'm near hinckley in leicestershire.
  10. Ive got this wheels and tyres Wheels need a refurd. Decent tread on tyres, cant remember the brand of tyres. Don't know if they fit UK brakes though. They are the same width front and back which isn't ideal on a supra either £75 collected.
  11. Its had a new injector loom fitted recently so that should be good, had a few guys tell me that it could cost around £800 if it's just a gasket and skim job. Ive just cancelled Christmas
  12. Thats what i thought, hence me asking, it just seems a bit backwards doesnt it? It is a dark creamy sludge in the header tank so my guess was head gasket, i'll have to get it booked in on monday i suppose and prepare myself for a rather large bill
  13. Car is a TD5 landrover discovery, the header tank is full of an oily gunge and the engine oil on the dipstick is suddenly very low, also the heater is now only blowing cold air. Is this definately a symptom of a blown head gasket? or could it be something else? Have asked on the landie forum but few replies at the moment so thought i'd ask on here as well. cheers.
  14. Don't accept a low offer either, i had some really low offers on mine which i considered as i was excited about buying my new car but i held out and got the full asking price in the end. Your car looks stunning and the right buyer with the right amount of money will be out there somewhere. Good luck.
  15. We sold our R32 golf to a car finance company who hadn't even viewed the car, they rang up and wanted to buy it straight away, payed via CHAPS money transfer which is a same day transfer and can not be reversed. Once the money is in your account it is yours (or so the bank told us). A bailif who worked for them came and collected the car without inspecting it and we never heard anything else of it, this was a £15000 car at the time and was a bit worrying but all turned out ok.
  16. Hi Ollie, i need to cancel my policy as ive now sold my supra, could you just fill me in on what i need to do please and the address of where i need to send my documents back to? thanks.
  17. Well she's gone! got a mixture of emotions, happy and sad at the same time. End of an era for me, was my third and probably last supra Thanks for the interest everyone.
  18. Original post updated, now with 6 months tax
  19. Thanks guys, why cant everyone be this straight forward to deal with? would make life loads easier wouldnt it?
  20. Jamies offer is best so far then, sorry Dean
