  3. Fiesta 1.6tdci, £35 tax and over 60mpg, 207 1.6 HDI £35 tax and over 60mpg Both within budget, ive been looking myself lately and i think i will be going for one of these two choices in the new year when i sell my 330.
  4. Black guy with glasses band and Nicolo
  5. I'll speak to the mrs when she gets back from church and see what she wants to do.
  6. Thanks for the helpfull reply, much appreciated
  7. My mrs fanices selling her wii as it never gets used but im unsure what it would be worth? Wii console 2 controllers with charger thing 2 things that turn the controllers into shotguns 5 or so games Wii fit balance board thingy probably a few more bits that i cant think of. It's only been played with about 10 times, was all bought last xmas and has sat there ever since. Whats it all worth you reckon? Also should mention we dont have the boxes any more. They got binned. Cheers.
  8. Boot space is good, big enough for a couple of medium sized dogs. Car is now sold, was collected last night. Thread can be closed thanks.
  9. I let them drive with me as a passenger. Not going to do anything particularly stupid with you sitting there are they?
  10. Do you mean insure? As actually, yes the horse is insured.
  11. My mrs need to get rid of her car as she has just bought a horse and we can't afford both. Pistonheads advert: http://pistonheads.com/sales/1827312.htm Thanks for looking
  12. I have 2 of these in my spare room in the boxes with the plastic bars and everything, how sad am i?
  13. Me too mate, kit-wise they are great, lovely looking, very nice inside, comfy etc. just go wrong a lot. My disco td5 has cost me the best part of a grand since last October, and that's doing most of the work myself. The inlaw's 1.8 freelander has cost even more than that. Ive also had a couple of pajeros in the past and they never missed a beat, if i were you i'd stick to japanese, for £3k you'd get a nice shogun.
  14. Stay away from anything landrover if you want reliability and low maintenance, especially the gaylander. I speak from experience of both.
  15. Ive just compared you pic to ones of my old stock n/a and to be honest yours looks pretty much the same ride height as mine.
  16. Why? known to have less problems than the 16v? or to be better on fuel?
  17. Cheaper than a decent mk2, about £700.
  18. Been offered a mk3 golf gti 16v as i need a cheap car, has anyone got any experience of them? Are they generally reliable? The figures suggest 35mpg, is this about right? thanks.
  19. Nice car, which engine is in this one? the normal 3SGE or a BEAMS? what's it like on fuel?
  20. All sorted, he admitted he was wrong tonight, he will be paying. Power to the people!
  21. Thanks guys, the git has just texted me now asking if my mrs will do the accounts for the village church which he is the warden of, but he wants her to do it for free!! Cheeky cnut!
  22. Thanks Michael, the house was renovated with the addition of gas just under a year ago, we are the first tennants to have gas in this house. We actually own a house that we rent out ourselves so we are familiar with the gas safety check. What i think his game is that he gets a boiler service and safety check done in one, then invoices us for the lot but words it that we are just paying for the service so it ends up not costing him a bean. The whole village is part of an estate that he owns, probably about 80 houses in all, so you'd think he must know what he's doing.
