Hey guys, Got a six speed tt:D We all know that the 6 speed tt aerotop is the holy grail of supras, and that they only made them for the states and in left hand drive (so i've been told). Any idea how much it would cost to convert it to an aero top?? Also, what other things would i need to be considering, chassis stiffening etc. Anyone know anyone who could do it and for how much?

not entirely sure but it could be either the master or the slave cylinder. Had the same problem on mine a while ago. after a while it wouldn't even change gear. Do you find that sometimes the clutch works and other times it doesn't? this might get worse as time goes on like mine did. not too big a problem to sort if it is. The master is located on the bulkhead adjacent to the stearing wheel. The slave is underneath the car next to your gearbox. (or might be the other way round). Not too hard to replace if you know what your doing. Just awkward. Hope this helps mate

Hey guys, Just been speaking to the bloke at "wheelmania". Looking at a set of 19" racing hart rs721s in machine and silver. Problem is they cost around 3k to buy. Selling one of me kidneys isn't an option yet so anyone know of where i could get them a little cheaper? Opinions on the wheel would help too.

Hey guys. Thinking of tinting the widows on my soop. Any thoughts? Anyone know where I stand with the law? Whats legal, what isn't? Also, was talking to a guy last night who said he was speaking to a guy who had 20s on his tt supra. The guy said that when he floored it, the wheel span in the tyre. Anyone heard anything like this or was he talking sh1te?

Fair play to you mate. I once asked the question "Will 20s fit on a supra, what mods might be needed for such a size and has anyone done it?" All i got back was "why dont you sell your soop and buy a land rover." I still actually never got to find out if it could be done. If someone wants to do something really outrageous with their soop then they should be applauded for having the balls to do with their car what some of us may not be prepared to do. It is after all a big risk as no doubt they've worked just as hard to buy their car as you or me. (Collectively) Lets face it, we're all in this group to help each other and cos we all appreciate one of the best (imo) sports cars ever built. Lets help each other out and stop having a go at people for daring to be different.

Just picked up my 6 sp tt at the weekend. The guy who imported it told me that that the car had done 88 000 kilometers as indicated on the dash (about 53,000 miles apparently). But he told me that the mileometer was now counting in miles because thats the way its done these days. He also said that I would be able to find someone quite easily who could change the readout to reflect the true mileage. Anyone got any thoughts on this? I thought it was illeagal to change the speedo.

Hey there guys. Finally picked up my soop tt last weekend. :d :d Just wondering if there are any meets goiong on soon in the Gloucestershire area. i.e Gloucester, Cheltenham, Swindon etc. Seen a few soops around gloucester recently. Red, Bright yellow, couple of black ones. Anybody on here?

those tints look the muts nuts mate. Really stand out on a white car. Any ideas what they'd look like on a met blue? And has anyone got any uk spec front lights for sale? The ones on mine are very misty. And is it true you need to drop the front end off to fit them. Had heard this and don't know if I should try it myself. Any info would really help.

Yes bud. Been doing shotokan for the last 18 years. Also do bag and pad work once a week as well as a bit of grappling and bca (british combat association) style training. Train with my good friend Geoff Thompson regularly. Look him up. Theres a guy you'd want with you when shit and fan meet.

hey guys. Was just thinking of asking the "why were there never any 6 spd tt aerotops". Now I know. Just a quickie though. Has anyone ever tried fitting 20inch rims to the supra? Can it be done? read some folks on here are having trouble with 19s and was hoping to go for 20s myself. I know I'll prob have to sell one of me kidneys to do it but I'm nothing if not keen.
