  1. I have bought it.Picking it up saturday 8th july.Cant wait
  2. Just wondering if this is a facelift model? Can anyone tell?I know the facelift model has the non-digital milometer, cant make it out in these photos though http://www.japaneseimportspecialists.co.uk/stocklist/toyotasuprarztwinturbowhite.html
  3. Seen the car saturday. Its absolutely in immaculate condition.no scratches or dents.Recaro seats are as new Does need a good polish i must admit.Slight variation in side spats colour as said before but once car is polished up should be fine. The bonnet line is sitting slightly higher than the wing, hence why the bonnet line doesn't line up the best in the photo.Should be easy sort out.(anyone else have this problem?) Car is running at 1.16 of boost.Thats what came up on the boost controller anyway when i drove it.Drives good and straight.Clunky gearbox and clutch as i was expecting.Car is decatted and has an Apexi exhaust i think.sounds good.not too loud Chrome wheels have slight staining but can be refurbished.Possibley needs 2 new rear tyres in the near future. So the question is, did i buy it?-Yes i did, picking it up 8th july. Paid £12,500 for it and getting a clifford alarm worth £475 installed for £260. Overall im very pleased with the car and as its my first turbo car i have a lot to learn about the supra.
  4. Its a honda integra! not getting very positive feed back.i will go look at it anyway but i think i have been put off by all the negative comments.thanks for your opinions, will let ye know how it goes
  5. Sent the guy a £250 holding deposit on this supra.I am off to see it tomorrow(saturday).Anything i should be especially looking out for when i see/drive the car? Have no experience with supras.I own a dc-2 He has agreed to sell it for £12,500 if i like it http://www.japaneseimportspecialists.co.uk/stocklist/toyotasuprarztwinturbowhite.html
  6. I currently own and drive a UKDM type R DC-2.No way does it do 350miles to a tank.Going really easy it will do 280miles.Going hard and its about 200.Costs £40-45 to fill it up.Very reliable car.never any trouble.Has to be driven hard as said to get any power.v-tec kicks in at 5800 but you can get a v-tec controller for £200.This will enable you to select when you want v-tec to engage-but this will increase fuel consumption.Nice rare car.not many on road and it can hit 145mph very easily. It needs a sixth gear for motorway cruising.the new dc-5 has a sixth gear Visit http://www.itr-dc2.com. LOADS OF INFO THERE
  7. DC5 are expensive plus i want a bit more power (dc5 puts out 220bhp-pretty good for a 2.0L n/a) and the supra offers me that.Dc5 is also very expensive to insure-more than the supra for me.I am in a position to buy now so just waiting for the right supra to come along
  8. Thanks for all the comments guys.Iam going to make the 400mile round trip saturday to see the car.The gap on the bonnet does look a bit iffy i must admit.I will check it out. Also has anyone got pics of the standard and upgraded brakes so i will be able to tell the difference on saturday. How will i tell the diference?Anything else i should be on the look out for.By the way white is my favourite colour for a car.currently have a DC2 teg.
  9. I like that single turbo too but its a bit too expensive for me.Also trying to run it would be costly
  10. Ya the guy says its running 1bar of boost,370-380bhp.he doesnt know about the brakes though.whats that gizmo in the center of the dash anyone know?
  11. http://www.japaneseimportspecialists.co.uk/stocklist/toyotasuprarztwinturbowhite.html Can anyone tell me If this is the 1996 RZ model shouldnt it have the brake upgrade as standard? Also what is the standard boost from factory on a 1996 rz tt supra Is this a good price? any comments welcome as i really like this car and want to buy it. Only thing i dislike is the front bumper that i would replace
