hi mate i am not an expert or anything so this is only an idea but i once has idling problems with another one of my motors and sorted the problem with some new sparks and cleaning deposits off the distributor cap points, so if your sparks are getting on give it a go if they are new try checking the gap on them, not sure if that will help, This might be a load of bollocks too but i have read that idling problems can sometimes be rectified by resetting the ecu, if you search on here you should find out how to do that worth a try, cant harm anything
