  1. From what I can make out the spring rate is adjusted when raising the height. I did try what you are suggesting first time round jacking up the front wind them right out then screwing back up at the same rate until happy with the height. Once the car was back on the ground there was a difference in height from left to right one side I could get two fingers between the top of the tyre and the arch the otherside three fingers??
  2. Ok so I bought some Tein Super Street CoilOvers second hand only done 3k. As they was recently on a a supra I thought set up would already be done it had been but far to low for my car running 17" I adjusted each corner keeping the spring rate on the rear both the same to the height I wanted and the same on the front got the height I wanted and kept both spring rate the same. MOT when the guys had the car over the pit they jacked the front a level jack lifting both front wheels at the same rate one tyre had more clearance than the other like half an inch, The rear was then jacked up much the same an Inch difference. Not happy got home lifted the front, out with the spirit level car was sitting level I then had the wheels off and put a length of wood under the car falling under each bottom arm making sure this was also level I then got out the tape measure measuring floor (wood) to bottom arm adjusting until I have the same measerment. This bit Baffles me because on the drivers side the to collars under the spring are near close to the bottom lowest setting passenger side to get the same height I have had to whinde the collars up near on 2" The back of the car I have had to do much the same. Wheels on car back on the ground drove it for it to settle, I measured from ground to top of the wheel arch and its perfect. The car is sitting just how i want it. So how come my spring rates are all different??????? I'm lost
  3. I have jacked the rear of the car up, while I turn one wheel forward the other one turns backwards. This to me seems wrong unless my diff is worn or it's been changed????? Or does this seem normal???

  8. I have had my Sup Twin Jspec parked up for nearly 3yrs due to a blown turbo. I feel now is the time to get it back on the road, due to limited funds I'm after a like for like setup something which will not need all new pipe works etc. Me and my friend a mechanic are stripping it down next week. Looking on EBay I have come across a T61 they say it will just bolt straight on?????? As I'm not sure which Turbo has blown I wanted to just replace both, I really don't know what I'm looking for I know one of the OEM Thrbos is a a CT26 I think so what is the other OEM Turbo?? Any help and guidance would be very much appreciated .
  9. Any Joy Tim i feel i have the same problem with my car i was on boost around 60mph Then nothing i limped it home this was 2 yrs ago i just parked it up after i was told i had blown the turbo. It didnt smoke and there was no bang when i lost boost. My guage does still give a read out PSI im guessing its from the first turbo. I cant quote on the psi as it was a long time ago. I just parked it up in mind to put the HKS 2835 GT kit on it. If there is a simple fix i would love to get it back on the road.
