  3. Hi all, recently done my FMIC upgrade and refitted everything only to realise the reason my headlights were misting up.... one is cracked on the plastics with a hole in , maybe from a previous crash(which aint been changed during repair) and the other one..... well, i wont even go there the lights have been binned as they were not safe to have on the car!!! So, have any of you guys got a nice shiney set of J-specs for sale as i don't know how much longer i can be driving down the shops in a black flying industrial size cheese grater before the coppers stop me.......... Thanks, Andy.
  4. Bye bye supe can't say much......... lump in throat mate....... hope ya ok and ya get another lovely motor soon. She was a really nice motor Andy.
  5. Hi all, i'm thinking of upgrading my disks and callipers and found a decently priced set of drilled and grooved brembo disks on ebay.com .... Only problem is that they are US spec. Will these fit my J-spec motor if i upgrade to uk spec callipers? Any help welcome Cheers, Andy.

  8. Hi, my first time last night but had to park near the entrance cos the car park was packed in the supra area..... got there about 19:00. Me and ma partner in crime nearly counted about 150 cars in total. Some really nice motors (some money's worth) a plenty there tho. Couldn't help but giggle when the poor regulars were waiting to get out tho and there was no way to get through the ram packed car park. All in all a good night and will be going again next month with ma camera and early this time so i can park up with you guys
  9. Welcome to the forum mate and i hope you enjoy your stay pretty new to these parts myself. Lots of friendly like minded individuals who like taking the P**S from time to time so enjoy hope ya get ya jap car mate not long had mine and it's been nothing short of near sideways fun!!! My first rear wheel drive car, so ya can imagine how many stained pair of undercrackers ya may need to take the laundry, for fear of ruining ya washing machine Andy
  10. cheers fellas, I'll be working on my supe this coming weekend so i'll do it then Andy.
  11. Hi all, recently uprated the J-Spec supe for a few extra ponies. Now i need some stoppers for my motor.... problem is, i don't know what callipers will fit. I been told by the previous owner that the UK spec brakes will not fit my Blitz 18" wheels due to the offset of the wheel. Can anyone on here tell me how to measure the offset of the wheel so i can use these details for the selection and purchase of a pukka set of callipers and disks? any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers, Andy.
  12. I looked on your site Martin and quite like the Greddy Titanium is this from cat-back? I noticed you have done a group buy for these before. It'd be sound if you could do em again matey if so mate my name's first on the list
  13. Hmmmm, maybe we should do a poll martin anything shiney with a big hole in and sounds good will put a smile on my face
  14. Do ya know anybody who has one? i may go down the local scrappy if not cos i need a top glove box door too
  15. Hi all, anyone know if there are any up and coming group buys for cat back systems? I done the double decat upgrade this weekend only to find that the rest of the system aint in that good a condition Cheers, Andy
  16. Yeah mate, i can see up into the engine bay cos there's no plastic guard there anymore... i know they're a pain in the butt when you want to do a service cos ya gotta remove them and stuff, but i hear they aid cooling and aerodynamics etc
  17. Hi all, been under the car this week as i was doing my double decat upgrade only to notice that the sump guard/plate (ain't too sure of the techy term for it) was not there , no screws.... nothing. Do any of you kind forum goers have one for sale spare or whatever as my poor little supe feels like it has no undies. Any offers would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Andy.

  21. Hi all, i am gonna have to do an oil change next weekend as i am installing a oil cooler . Now, i've read a few articles regarding what oil to use..... by the time i do my oil cooler, my motor will be BPU. I asked Toyota and they say 5W-30 engine oil is good but i read on the forum that 10W-50 is also good. My motor was previously owned by Tdraper and he had the services carried out by Phoenix. He said they may have used the 5W-30 but he ain't too sure. Anybody got any suggestions as i've looked on the service receipts and it doesn't give me any idea, plus the car will be putting out more power. Should i get 10W-50? What brand? Do they stock at Halfords branches? Decisions decisions Any help welcome, Andy
  22. Thanks Paul mate , me being the lazy sort didn't do a search before i posted but i found some pics on the forum(splumph ). Some good pics and info from SimonB and the rest of the bunch. Cheers all the same mate Andy. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=37246&highlight=oil+cooler+install
