  1. Sorry we didn't make this guys. Had a family bereavement on Thursday
  2. I'd think carefully before selling. We sold last year because it wasn't getting used and we've now got another less than 12 months later - nothing is the same as Suzie Supe!
  3. I'd be so angry!! Hopefully the council will sort it out - best of luck.
  4. We were surprised at the lack of meets too after being away from the club (apart from the odd visit) for the last 2-3 years. When we had our first Supe there were the monthly meets at The Bubble in Derby but there doesn't seem to be anything regular around here anymore, despite there being a few of us locally. Maybe we're all just anti social
  5. Yep! Been out in it today and the growl is just what we wanted. Doesn't intrude into the car at all but nice and growly from outside the car - perfick!! We've bought Dean's (tooquicktostop) wheels from him too so once we get those from him in the next couple of weeks then the car will be starting to look a lot better as well as sounding better
  6. As a few have said - heart over head... I had my first NA at about 24 and sold it when we bought a bigger house, nearly cried when it drove away! Had a TT outside the new house before long but didn't get much use so sold that after a couple of years and regretted it big time The crunch came a few months ago, we sold an active spoiler and the guy came to collect it in his Supra. An hour of chatting followed and when he drove off my husband and I just looked at each other. A couple of months after that we had Supra number 3 and this one is not going anywhere! There's just something about these cars, for my Dad it is, and has always been, Porsche 911's, for me it's Supra's. No other car can make me grin like a fool just looking at it out of the window
  7. Yes Although it's only been started on the drive so far this evening. It's just a nice purr, didn't want anything deafening this time! Had an RSR on our first Supe and it was awful, made my ears ring after more than about 20 minutes in the car... not good!
  8. Sticky out bit of pipe has been chopped off and the exhaust is now on!
  9. Looking forward to getting my sticky mitts on them!!
  10. Thanks guys! Will let you know how it goes
  11. That was Jon's theory. Just wanted some second opinions before he started mutilating it! We will get it on come hell or high water!!
  12. Oops, misunderstanding. The gap being between the midpipe and the cat where it won't fit over that bit of pipe. Any idea if it would cause any sealing issues if we just chopped that bit of pipe off?
  13. Would potentially be interested depending on the obvious (size, price etc)
  14. Here's the cat and the offending bit of protruding pipe...
  15. That was my next question tbh. Wasn't sure if this would cause any issues though.
  16. Definately the 2 bolt flange. I'll post a picture in a sec.
  17. Thanks Nic. I was just about to upload a pic but you beat me to it. If you look on the left where the mid pipe should bolt on, there is a short pipe sticking out past the flange. The prob we have is that this won't fit inside the mid pipe so when you try to bolt the mid pipe on, there is a gap of about 10mm between the two sections.
  18. Will just get my tea eaten and get a pic up asap. Thanks!
  19. Hi, I've got a 1994 stock TT and wanted to replace the stock system from the catback just to get a bit of a nice purr as opposed to stock silence I have bought a second hand Whifbitz 2.5" system. I know that on Whifbitz site it states that this is designed more for the NA but I did some research on here and found a few threads where it was stated that fitment on NA's and TT's was the same from the catback (moral of the story - should have gone from what it said on Whifbitz site!!) and my engine is and will remain stock so thought that the smaller pipe wouldn't be a problem at all from an air flow perspective. We're now trying to fit it and it won't fit over the little bit of pipe that extends from the cat Is it that there are differences between the NA and TT from the cat back that I didn't find out about or is there something a little bit amiss somewhere?? Not sure whether to get a decat pipe and solve the problem that way or whether to sell the Whifbitz exhaust on and wait for something definitely TT compatible to come up. Any help or feedback would be welcomed as I'm a bit confused about why it won't fit at the moment. Thanks all, Sarah
  20. The car is currently stock so no problems of it being lowered. Thought those sizes would be ok but offsets confuse me so thought it would be better to ask! Thanks for the replies
  21. Hi, Some help is needed please guys.... We're looking at a set of second hand wheels on ebay that are 8.5J 18's with a 32 offset on the front and 9.5J 18's with a 35 offset on the back. We've done a search to try and find out if the arches would need to be rolled to accommodate them but we're struggling to find info with these specific offsets. Can anyone help please??? Thanks!
  22. Could use them as placemats! (Bit of a girl comment there - agreed!) Edit: just noticed the hooks on the Supra one - maybe not so much a placemat as a jewellery hanger?!
