  1. has anyone had any experience of a freelander? found one near me in really good condition and at a really good price. the only off putting thing is that its only a 1.8
  2. due to the mileage im now doing im looking for an alternative to the supra to use on a daily basis. i need it to be more economical than the supra,to be able to tow a small boat and be reliable (hopefully). im open to suggestions wether it be an estate, hatchback or saloon. any suggestions guys? edit: title should be less than, not more than
  3. yeah, its going good thanks. hope everything is fine over there. i was just looking at that sealent, seems a reasonable price aswell. how long per wheel do you reckon it took you? my fronts are in a similar condition and my rears slightly worse
  4. my quicksilver looks that dark in some lighting. when the sun is out however it looks even better
  5. strewth dave, nice job! im in dire need of mine getting refurbed but it just aint possible at the moment as i need the car pretty much everyday apart from the odd weekend here and there. might have an attempt myself at them after seeing how yours have come out
  6. mathew

    R12 spy

for someone like me with a name like mathew then not very much. However id imagine it would be worth a bit more to someone with a name such as R12 SPY
  7. there isnt a dent just a scratch in the paintwork about the size of an ant
  8. i dunno, im guessing so. im looking to get the bumpers sprayed so hopefully they can touch it up at the same time
  9. Popped out breakfast time to pick up a news paper from a near by petrol filling station. I pull up onto the forecourt and park next to a pump which is on my right hand side. Head into the shop, pick up my news paper and then leave to get back into the car. as im in the car sorting myself out before pulling off i notice a fiesta pull up on my left hand side obviously wanting to use the opposite petrol pump. But this guy is literally half a foot away from my passenger side! just as i think to myself 'he aint going try and get out of his car parked that close to me'........BANG!!! the idiot has opened his door straight into my car! If that wasnt bad enough he then squeezes himself out of his fiesta and between the two cars and proceeds to fill his car up without even aknowledging what he has done! Im a very chilled out person and it takes hell of a lot to wind me up but when the gobsmacked feeling wore off i let rip on the c**t. his reply.......'what do you mean? i havent touched your car' this wound me up even more and pointed out to him the damage and how close he had parked. He seemed a few bananas short of a bunch and didnt know if he was coming or going. He looked like a right scruffy oldish guy with a ripped shirt and his car looked like someone had taken a baseball bat to it and for a split second i was overcome with a feeling of sympathy towards him but soon thought f**k that this c**t has just shown no respect what so ever for my car. so carried on with my rant at him. I told him something along the lines of 'you better have insurance on that f**king thing mate or some money to cover the costs!' to which he replied with some mumbles then put his hand in his pocket and handed me some notes. i counted it out.......£200!!! In all honesty i over reacted a bit regarding the damage that had been caused to my car (its miniscule) but still puzzled as to who or what this guy was just to be able hand me that amount of cash just like that. i was thinking maybe a gypsy as these usually seem to have plenty of cash. either way i now have an extra 'ding' on my beloved supra:(
  10. have you thought that they might be completely innocent? a couple of years before i had my supra i would drive the long way home up an adjacent street knowing that a guy who lived there had a supra parked outside. i would drive past slowly and just admire it. i noticed a white celica being driven past my place a lot and slowing down having a good gander at my supra. one day the driver did it as i was leaving the house and i managed to grab a few minutes to chat with him. turns out he was doing the same as i used to do and just admire the car.
