the £100 is including the weekly petrol bill. £50 fuel + £50 insurance, tax, mot etc

i wouldnt be looking to spend much, £1000-£1500. ive seen a few high mileage german tanks around that price range that will, like has been said, return 50-60mpg. i was considering going the tt transplant route with the supra aswell which then brought me onto the fact with everything added up i could just buy one car in the region of £8k-ish instead of having the supra and a second car. like i said im completely undecided yet but i know no matter what i get il miss the supra.

im currently spending £100 a week on petrol for the supra. if i can find something thats twice as economical mpg then il have an extra £50 a week spare which im hoping will cover the cost of running a second car. if it works out that im spending £100 a week on the second car and im breaking even, it wouldnt bother me much as the mileage is going on that car and not the supra.

full of mixed emotions here, damn car! im currently doing about 400miles a week with work, and will continue to for a while to come, and it aint coming in cheap with the fuel. i was gona buy a cheapo run about for work but after having a look through autotrader some other cars have kinda cropped up on the 'liking factor' that can be had for a little bit more money. if i bought a cheap run about i know i wouldnt get use of the supra so thought it would make sense to sell the supra and buy a more economical car. still undecided but a quicksilver 1997 NA could be up for sale soon:(

got a rusty area on my arch which is now all bubbly. how much of a job is it to rectify this? is it worth paying someone to repair it or less hassle just to replace the front wing?

what he said. without going into too much detail everything that could have gone wrong last year went wrong. luckily the last 2 months have been a complete turn around for me and its looking rosey again. chin up dude, life is full of variance.

i had an offer accepted on a house 2 weeks ago, they put the 'sold' sign up and everything . im now struggling to get a mortgage due to only being self employed for 5 weeks. thats despite having a 40% deposit ready. ive gotta phone the estate agent tomorrow to let them know i will now not be buying the house and it can go back on the market. so, yeah, its always worth putting in an offer as not all sales go as planned

my search for an everyday car for work and stuff may be nearing an end. a lovely looking A6 has come up for sale near me. 1.8T, 2000 x reg, 100k miles, fsh £2350. is that price about right? it seems pretty cheap for the amount of car you get. anything i should be looking for when viewing it?

not sure on the weight, it shouldnt be too much as it will only be a trailer and a 16ft boat. any views on the mg ZT? they seem to be going for ridiculously small money
