  1. Hi Tony/any one else who might be able to answer! Found the following tool on snap-on's site which looks the same but without any knurling and cheaper! Any reason why I shouldn't get this one? http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?search=true&item_ID=78777&PartNo=ga317&group_id=1578&supersede=&store=uk&tool=all Instead of the one you had? http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=all&item_ID=72214&group_ID=1578&store=uk&dir=catalog Perhaps it is different in size or maybe wasn't for sale when you made the faq? I'm totally prepared for the fact that I may have asked a stupid question here as I am inexperienced when it comes to the inside of an engine but thought I'd ask as I have no lathe and think £50 for two small pieces of metal and a magnet is more painful than £34!
  2. I remember that! I had no stealth boys etc I was just sat in a corner unloading armour piercing rounds and pulse grenades into them! Pretty epic battle but was like having a fight in an lift being in that small room!
  3. Some pics - in good condition as can be seen. Can see 1 scratch on the top edge (i.e. not on the main face) of the drivers side light however it's about 3mm in size so can't see it in pics! P.S. One of the clusters has a red light fitted to the reverse light - this was used as a fog light however no changes have been made to the cluster side of the loom so a white bulb can be fitted if you already have a fog light in the bumper. DHL want nearly £20 for postage :O I didn't know it was that much to send to Ireland. I've never sent anything to Ireland so I'll have to ask you if this seems normal price to you? If that seems normal/good deal then I'll use them but if not I'll see if anyone else can do it cheaper - any recommendations?
  4. Facelift or pre-facelift? I don't suppose it makes any difference if you are tinting them? I have a set of pre-facelift lights if interested £35 +postage?
  5. 1. I've seen singles sell for that before, and they are usually lower HP cars with a basic kit on them rather than having a built engine etc. You haven't said whether you want manual or auto? 2. Not applicable as 1 was yes but it ranges. Check out the traders for prices on new kits, but budget in labour, ECU, fuel setup and Mapping. Second hand kits can be had for a bargain on here though. 3. I have a single and I still think the UK brakes are perfectly adequate for road use. Might get some CW pads this year to see what difference they make though. EDIT: lol everyone got in there first.
  6. I'd get the 5570 - better than the 5550 and on the sites you posted it's cheaper Looking at the benchamrks it appears that the card is very capable of running Fallout 3. Minimum of 39fps when all settings are high and running at 1900 x 1200 (basically full HD 1080p) and obviously runs faster than that at lower resolutions if you are to play this on a smaller monitor.
  7. Out of interest, how would the shape of the graph change with 264/264 cams in there? Would you lose some power down low/increase lag while building more power up top?
  8. As above, price please? I've got some cheaper mounts that do the trick but like the fact this one warns you of lost suction! Nothing I'm worried more about than losing suction... Anyway, I put on some duct tape too for extra measure!
  9. Looks like all you need is a decent gfx card then. I got the ATI 4890 (factory overclocked) for ~ £130 and it plays new fallout on max settings nicely let alone the old one. Not found anything that won't run on max yet in fact! Only trouble with the 4890 is that it's 2 generations of ATI card behind. I'm sure theremust be a comparable 5xxx series card available for the same price, and if so it would be worth getting unless you can get the 4890 for a steal!
  10. Any chance of a quick video? I think it should be mandatory for all new single owners to post one! Plus I'd love to know what it sounds like through the Nur spec! The NUR spec is a little too loud for me through the GT30 and stock manifold but through the whifbitz manifold and larger turbo it might be perfect. I'm about to upgrade to a similar sized turbo (PT6262 DBB) myself and the same whifbitz kit so I can dream that I can get a similar torque curve to you!
  11. Videos on youtube suggest so... I'm still waiting for the postie to deliver mine
  12. Froyo 2.2 and root here too plus lagfix = lightning fast. As for battery life, mine lasts the entire day even when I have a few hours of conference calls plus on flight to USA it would play divx movies for roughly 7 hours before I'd be getting the emergency charger out. Playing games like Angry Birds drains it much quicker though!
  13. Steam is a joke now - you'd think because they don't have to package the game and send it to a store etc that you might have a chance of getting it chepaer but it always seems to be cheaper in the shops now.
  14. You'll still need a 64bit OS if you want to make use of all that 4GB of RAM and a half decent Gfx card with 1GB of VRAM. A 32bit OS can only address 4GB of RAM in total - 4GB system RAM + 1GB RAM on Gfx card = 5GB so you'll probably only be able to access 3GB of you system RAM if you go with 32bit I wouldn't bother with 32bit anyway if you are going with Windows 7 as pretty much everything runs on Win 7 64bit - come across 2 programs so far which are not yet 64bit compatible but neither are showstoppers! Being a ex-server too I expect 64bit drivers will be easy to come across for it.
  15. Did you get to level 30 and still have plenty to do? I'm at 22 so getting close and getting worried! Was really annoying on Fallout 3 when you got to level 20 and were only half way through the game. It was still a good game but I had to get the hack to let you go above level 20 (before DLC's were released) - I just didn't enjoy it as much when you weren't levelling up - I need MOOAARR XP!
  16. PC version puts you play time on your save file - take a look at the load game screen. I'm not going to reveal what mine says
  17. That sounds like the save issue as the game does autosave when exiting a building but the bug causes the game to load the wrong save when you press Continue on the main menu (it's obviously supposed to load the latest save, but doesn't)
  18. Anyone manage to get a go on it yet? I'm feeling the consequences at work early this morning after my binge last night!
  19. I assume the C was missing? I don't think @'s will make a difference tbh I have 1 cat on my single - not quite the monster yours is but it just passes when it's hot
  20. Mine was an auto and could have stayed that way if it was my only car but it's my weekend car and when I drive it, I want to REALLY drive it, not let it drive me Now that I have converted mine I'd never go back but at the time I was content with it. I'd love the Supra auto box fitted in my runaround though, compared with others I have driven it was great and perfect around town!
  21. Happy Birthday dude! You want to do what to him Karolina??
  22. I'm definately interested and have the money waiting - only thing I'd need to sort is getting it to me. Is there any chance in the world you could courier this? Obviously I'd pay what is needed otherwise I'll have to see if I can borrow something with at least folding seats to come collect this!
  23. Pah indeed! Me and a mate with the G18 _kecmV4g5mc
  24. Just for comparison, here you can see 2 x .577 rounds (left & right) compared with a .308 rifle round (pretty much a 7.62mm round used in M16, M60 etc)
  25. That's the gun we were trying to ask the rangemaster about at a shooting range in Arizona last week. .577!! thats gonna have a lot of gun powder for a rifle that looks like it has no recoil absorption mechanism! First time is always the worst as you don't expect the power... just like my mate who underestimated the recoil of the Desert Eagle .50 AE as he will gladly demonstrate to you @ 0:40 in my video below! Now that was fun to shoot! 5-M7FgKedUk
