  1. 6 bolts & 2 nuts on each side is all that holds them on once you've got the coil packs out of the way If you haven't had your covers off before you'll definitely want new seals and washers to replace your old ones as they'll have baked into plastic by now. Some FIPG would be needed on the front corners too when fitting back on to make sure there are no oil leaks after.
  2. Haven't driven mine since I started work on it in Nov '09 and I would have killed to have gone for a drive today! Dry roads, Sun was out but air was cold - perfect conditions really! Just put the beer on ice for when you are done
  3. Isn't it part of the MOT for this to work too? I know the dash isn't part of it (although you may get an advisory) but it might come under the section where they check the handbrake like the ABS light being part of the ABS check etc.
  4. Pay off what's left for a mate's wedding holiday and hopefully have enough left to map the the new single
  5. I haven't particularly punished mine since going 6 speed but am now a tad worried about mine. If Gav is right then I would have thought it wouldn't matter too much as softening the changes would probably help whether auto or not.
  6. Yup, part of the tensioner assembly for a manual supra. My Supra was converted from an auto and I still have the solid tensioner thingymabob and have been wondering if I should change it to the one you have circled.
  7. Spoken to Ash, very nice fella who looks like he's got a business that will produce some interesting things in future! My dash panels will be off to him this week P.S. Cheers for sorting this out Ric and sorry that all 5 haven't yet come together for you.
  8. Smooth spark plug cover that Where'd you pick one of them up from?
  9. I'll put my hands up and admit thjat I haven't called Ash yet. I was supposed to be removing the dash panels over the days off I had at Christmas but ended coming down with the flu on Christmas Day. It will probably be next weekend by the time I can get the panels out now as I'm on hols at the moment but I'll give Ash a ring tomorrow in order to make him aware that I still want these and hopefully help to get the numbers back up to 5.
  10. Pics? Sounds nice tho - welcome and stay safe in your new pride and joy!
  11. It's true you can't beat that nostalgic feeling of bringing the old console out of the loft etc. I still have my N64 etc but I do find that the novelty can wear offwhen you realise just how used to the higher resolutions and detailed models that have in todays games - at least with emulation you can get the benefits of higher resolution and texture filtering with some of them. I could quite happily dig the N64 out, all 4 of my controllers and have a few mates round to play GE64 and Perfect Dark - 4 player split screen on a 50" plasma will surely beat the old 15" CRT we used to have to share between us!
  12. Which consoles did you have in mind? Have you considered emulation instead?
  13. Can you not do what you do in XP? Ricght click My Computer > Properties. On the Computer Name tab choose 'Change Name' and Bob's ur Uncle? EDIT: No you can't as like everything else, it has been moved but this looks like it will do it http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-7/change-computer-name-windows-7/
  14. There are a few things wrong with Black Ops like the game spawning you right next to enemies but on the whole it's a great game - as good as MW2 I'd say just different, however if you are playing on a console I can see how it might feel a step back. On the PC, the fact that it is dedicated servers again and matchmaking has been abolished is reason enough to say BO is better than MW2.
  15. Another vote for losing the eyelids! Nice and clean that! 3 hours doesn't seem that far to me Was a 5 hour train journey to pick mine up nearly 4.5 years ago and that was well worth it to me
  16. I've never really been worried about the inclines at multistorey car parks, it's the huge curbs they have either sides of the ramps between levels that I worry about and why I avoid them at all costs - supra sounds nice inside one though I'd imagine how much of an idiot I'd feel if I blocked everyone getting out of the multistorey like an episode of top gear so I'll be sure to think about this before taking it into somewhere new.
  17. meh... Only joking dude! Happy Birthday Big Boy!

  19. Nice write up! Until now I never knew fully what was involved in replacing one of these and it looks like a b@stard of a job for anyone who'd attempt this without a workshop and all the right tools! How long did it take per side?
  20. Got my eye on the Flux capacitor - a steal at $175,000!
  21. Piccy no worky for me Guigsy
  22. Our cat Hardy who we inherited from our neighbour! They got a dog and he decided he wanted out - he just came over one day and everytime we took him back to their house he'd end up sat at our door again. He seems to like turbos and have caught him inside my supra more than once
  23. Use remote desktop, VNC, logmein etc to connect to a home PC with internet access. If you want to be even more clever you can even set your home PC up as a proxy server and use it to connect through to the internet using your browser on your work PC depending on how far they've gone trying to prevent you doing such things. EDIT: wow, surprising how many people can post in the time it took me t write a reply! Must concentrate harder!
  24. Can't understand people that do this?! Makes me so angry, and it's not even my car! Surely it can't just be boredom and jealousy that makes them do this! I'm seriously thinking that I should have a camera aimed at mine all the time here as if I was in your situation I'd want to know who did this! Best of luck catching them and hopefully the neighbour caught a glimpse of them. I want to go attach mine to the mains!
  25. Same wheels as me but I paid a lot more than that for them, brand new though. I quite like them on mine
