  1. If people meet at Gordano I can meet them there - I'll probab;y end up coming back the A420 way though - honest its easy as its 1 road that goes from Bristol all the way to the turnoff for castle combe just before getting to chippenham and get to tear up some of the streets in Brizzle! Even the famous ring road which is known for a good Hooning!!!
  2. I'm all up for Japfest but don't think I'll be up early enough to meet then!! What time do the gates open and what time does everything kick off?
  3. I Vote Group Buy!! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif Seriously $14,000 is a lot for that - could built one into the wall with less money surely?? Would scare the sh!t out of my cat too when she tries to sleep under the bed!
  4. I like! But don't go leaving anything on the floor at the foot of your bed! Don't think people be impressed when that comes up with a dirty pair of undies stuck to the front of it Would be great for playing 360 in bed though!
  5. Quick Q - where does this relocate the filter to? And easy to fit?
  6. 1. Jimsupra 2. EGrossi (Milly) 3. Rollin thunder 4. Non turbo jim 5. Tarcase - Are you up for the convoy up? 6. Leelbuk 7. And me - will be 1st time too! I'll join the convoy on the way as I live closer to Castle Coombe than the WSM guys. What route will you guys take? Through Bristol and onto the A420? Or will you be going longer way - up M5 across M4?
  7. I'll have the filter!! Can you PM me paypal details if you will accept it? Cheers
  8. Doh! Where's my manners - spoke before I . Cheers though!!
  9. Really?? Thats a bugger and they cost a fair bit too - how likely am I to damage them if I try and adjust them? Whats the gap supposed to be? Wouldn't they cause the car to miss slightly or suffer under load? It just seems odd as the plugs are definately better as mine used to pop a little when reving down and also occasionally miss on idle.
  10. Hello people - fitted my plugs to the car a couple of weekends ago and turned up the boost to 1.2bar for the 1st time and all I can say is :d WOW!!! :d Like I've put another turbo on!! Only trouble is since then I have a mysterious starting problem. If I come to the car in the morning and turn the key she will turn over and then just start for half a second and cut out. This will happen the next 2/3 times I try too and then the next time she will start and run perfect. I have checked I have put everything back correctly and I have even replaced one of the coil connectors that was looking a bit 'dodgy' - all the others seem fine. All plugs seem to be firing fine - the car runs better than it did with the standard NGKs in there - i'e not a miss or anything - she purrs lovely even when whe revs down - no popping or nothing and is perfect under boost and load. Is there anything else I can check? I can see a vacuum line that has a small crack in it which I will be replacing on the weekend - could this cause problems? I have no idle problems or anything, just problem on cold start. Any help would be great. Regards, Lee.
  11. Hey me too!! And same colour - don't worry, Silver Supras are rare as fook! Will be good to see everyone again! Bringing plenty of video tape so you guys and gals better have ur cars in tip top shape! See you all bright and early!
  12. I guarantee you it will do nothing - 12v has too low a potential for any noticable amount of current to travel through your body - you will feel nothing. Amperage is the amount of work that electricty can do and Voltage is the potential to do it. The reason why you can weld with car batteries is that even though they are only 12v they can release a massive amount of amps but the voltage is so low that across your body (a massive resistor effectively) 12v does not have enough potential to transfer this current through your body. As safe as it is with your hands I wouldn't suggest doing the 9v battery tongue test on your car battery though...
  13. Honestly I would if I could, just to see what standard was like (I purchased the car running at 1.0 bar) but seems that with the way these Greddy boost controllers you can only increase boost above what car already boosts to and never below that! Getting excited about weekend - 1st time I've seen my baby on the rollers - 1 problem though - found a problem with my Top Speed delimiter - and I now can't go above 120
  14. I did FCD, Fuel Pump, Boost Controller, Spark Plugs... basically fully BPU'd her myself except for the exhaust as felt that was a ramp job really, not to mention I also service her too. And I work in IT, so really anyone can do it if you're willing to learn something new!
  15. Sorry I didn't come people - I was going to use this week to fit things to my car ready for the Rolling Road but I got put on London shift this week so did all my work on Sunday. On the up side I'm totally BPU'd now and had my 1st experience at 1.2bar - blimey she's quicker!! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif I'm really suprised at how much quicker in fact - she scares me again! And the noise is f'in awesome - 1 bar seems so slow now! See you all on weekend nice and early!!

    gauges

I have had a look at them when they had a stand at JAE and the guages looked very nice - I'm considering buying some when I go back to JAE or if they are at another show closer to now. I can't comment anymore as I haven't owned any but I'm sure someone on here has and will be round to offer their 2p
  17. Not another one round 'ere!! They gonna start becoming common cars before long
  18. Thanks for they suggestions! I'll give them a try tomorrow when I get round to washing my car!! Thats if I get to sleep anytime soon...
  19. Cheers Guys, will buy some on weekend and give it a go as they are just getting worse as the tar spots build up. I take it this stuff is safe to use on paintwork too then?
  20. Hello peeps, just wondered what other people use to get of those annoying black spots off your wheels other than just elbow grease - I don't want to use an abrasive for fear of marking the polished wheel but there must be a better way that breaking you fingers from pushing so hard!? Can anyone share their secret how to get this stuff off? Cheers. Lee B.
