  1. Me and My dad imported this one last year Driven it a couple of times and it is very fun and stupidly powerful right from 1k rpm! Stupid amount of torque! Sounds awesome too when you stick a good exhaust on them - the whining you hear is obviously the supercharger going. Its at Interpro now with Jody T being taken back up to approx 500BHP as it was reduced back to the 300's when brought over for SVA test Enjoy http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://media.putfile.com/Supercharged-Corvette;title=Supercharged+Corvette+Video+on+Putfile

    A bad day

Had the same thing happen to my 1st cat - we lived near a fairly busy road so its bound to happen. I have hit a cat before too wasn't even doing 20MPH as it was one of those roads that everyone double parks on but the cat was sat there and then suddenly decided to run across the road. Luckily the poor fella hit my fibreglass splitter which cracked and absorbed a lot of the force. I stopped and checked evrything was ok (cat ran into cat flap ok lol) and he was apparently fine and was still fine weeks later - v. lucky and left me very relieved) R.I.P chunks
  3. http://www.videohelp.com/ full of hacks for all dvd players and has a forum you could try searching for answers - your best bet. Failing that, I suggest getting a Xbox 1, run softmod on it (chips the xbox without actually using a physical chip) and then upload xbox media centre onto it! Then you have: 1. A multi region DVD player (with component out and HD upscale if you get the HD cable) 2. A multiformat player. i.e. it can play anything your PC can practically, including DivX, Xvid, WMV, mp3... loads! 3. Its can connect to a network so you can use it to access all your Mp3's, videos etc from a networked PC 4. Plays Xbox games (backups and originals), old skool console emulators BTW, a 2nd hand xbox costs as much as most of the cheapest DVD players out there yet is much better quality that some of the more expensive ones
  4. Whats the chances of capturing that in on camera!! I don't feel too sorry - looks like quite an expensive boat so must have enough money But Big OOPS!
  5. I get a massive kick at 3800-4000 when 2nd comes in - always makes me lose grip if I have my foot even slightly pushed down too far, so traction control is always off!! Also, the exhaust note is noticibly different - its louder, sportier and has more of a "whooshing" sound. I went from 1bar to 1.2 and thought that it would be just a little faster but boy was I wromg!! Much much faster!!
  6. lol I need to change that! I live near and work in Brizzle!!! Got plenty of users in Somerset - just most of the time the faults lie between the Keyboard and chair
  7. So True!! I deal with internal employees instead of customers and its just as bad - if not worse!! Classics include: 1. Ask them to reset their computer and they say they have, when they haven't. 2. After that, them telling you that they KNOW that doing that won't work and wasting 5 mins arguing their point until finally resetting the damn thing and VOILA! everything works! 3. If you get them that far Tell them to turn off the PC - they turn off the blinkin' monitor! 4. The one person who keeps fiddling with the damn mouse when Remotely Assisting them!!! 5. The person thats shouting at you to get their presentation back off their laptops hard drive after they dropped the laptop down the stairs. 6 The heavy breathers and eaters! Chomp Chomp Chomp in ur ear - and the heavy breathing... what is this, a p0rn line? 7. The fiddlers! God I hate them! They come on the phone ranting and raving and it turns out they have gone and deleted the Windows directory, or gone into some menu somewhere and randomly tickd boxes. You fix everything and they are back on the phone next day saying its not working anymore - leave the damn stuff alone! Luckily I moved to 2nd line support so I don't have to talk to them much anymore! Oh the joys of IT
  8. Re-use it is then - almost ready to fit new polished pipes but am waiting on some lengths of samco hosing yet and will then get started - a very daunting task too - wondering how I put all this stuff back together
  9. 40-50 quid just for the piece of plastic?
  10. How much do the lenses usually go for? I'm interested in them! Cheers. Lee.
  11. Cool mate, yeah you still have 1st dibs on the original pipes - in perfect nick, just not as shiny as my polished ones. I'll order some, but that firegum - is that different than the exhaust gasket sealer GunGum? Cheers
  12. Firegum? Like gungum for exhausts? Cheers.
  13. I'm wondering about this too - what about using the LED ones in the rear lights too - do they cause the indicators to flash rapidly too?
  14. Cool - as I'm in a rush and they literally look perfect - look as though they have been replaced at some point - I''l put it back together and leak test it - I can buy some later on if need be as its not too difficult to get to 2 of them Cheers for everyones help!! Much appreciated!
  15. Polished mate! Are they easy to get hold of - I don't mind buying new ones at all its just I need to get this done quickly and can't wait to order these - are they kept in stock by anyone usually or is it something you have to order and wait for? Cheers Lee.
  16. Is it possible? I am fitting my new Stainless Turbo pipes and when removing the old ones all the gaskets are perfectly (or look that way) I am quite mechanically capable and do most things on my car myself but I have no idea whether these things can be re-used if they are undamaged or if they must be replaced? Can anyone advise? Thanks. Lee.
  17. I would get 'em but I've already spent £1600 this month BUMP!
  18. Yeah come on - for £1200 quid worth you must have bought shed loads? tell! Good day all in all - very sunburnt now though! but got loads of pics and movies, especially of the Driftworks team going sideways a plenty round the circuit! 1st event of the year for me and looking forward to plenty more
  19. That pale blue scooby (on of the TOTB cars) also caught fire mate! Don't know what happenned but assume that they may have run the engine tuned a little hard - mind you it was shifting!!
  20. Ah ha - another face put to a car - I was on my way between works too, 1st time I driven to the North Bristol office in her. Makes the day go by quicker!! U going to Japfest @ Castle Coombe?
  21. Was Silver, aftermarket wheels and bented bonnet - didn't get a look at the plate but you gave me a wave! Anybody on here??
  22. 8.45am at Gordano to leave at 9:00 - we would get there about 45 mins max getting us there at 9:45. Would that be cool?
  23. Whoa! Thats was quick! Thats a bunch. PM'd andyhannah
  24. Anyone got a set or know where I can get a set quickly - don't mind if they are replicas as long as the fit good Cheers. Lee.
