Whats the the verdict with MOTs and Cracked windscreens?

lol yeah no chance with the Supra windscreen but might be ok then with this? The crack is below where the wipers rest. By the wording of that above from the internet it would seem I was OK. I'll get a local garage to just look at the windscreen and ask whether he will pass it or fail it. Cheers. Lee. -

My runaround is due for its MOT and as usual I do a once round to make sure she will pass but I have noticed a potential problem I have a cracked windscreen - what will cause me to fail the MOT? Is it whether or not the crack is within your vision (this crack is right at the bottom i.e. it is below the windscreen wipers. And is there a limit on sixe - i.e the crack cannot exceed 10 inches etc? Any info that can prevent a retest will be greatly appreciated!! Lee.

Quick question! What is the diameter of the water hose that goes across the top of the engine at the back - takes water to the heater matrix? My car is at Knight Racers so I cannot measure this pipe but need to bring a replacement with me as its not doing too good. Silly me forgot to measure it before I left her there! Any help greatly appreciated!!

Check them all mate - all the larger ones coming from turbo pipes towad intercooler and fro intercooler all the way along underneath (from passenger side to drivers side) and back up into the throttle body. As soon as I went BPU, the 2nd time I boosted to 1.2bar i heard a... well best described as ,, pooooosssshhhhhhh! The pipe between the turbo pipes and intercooler had blown off. Put back together, new hose clip and hasn't come off since If you can hear hissing though, it shoulds like a pipe either hasn't fully come off and is either loose or split

Think we just pay for our own advance tickets from website - the stand pass is free thanks to Lui and just lets us onto the stand rather than the carpark outside

Depends on where abouts in Bristol you are the most. Rolling Thunder is near Ashton Gate way, I'm further away on other side of suspension bridge. We have meets in Weston near enough 1 Sunday every month so you should come along - plus there will be a paintball day soon arranged by RedSupraGirl

That really make my blood boil mate - sorry to hear!! My last car I woke up next day to find dent in front of bonnet and they had poored lager all over her Really wish I had a camera outside pointing at the driveway so I could have caught the toerags...

Mates gf - "...little whimp scream....Oh shit my stomach! Nearly made me sick!" But my dads response when I first got her, they were all expecting something like another quicker fiesta to come rolling down the road - but they were suprised - even my mum liked the look and sound of the supra as I rolled up outside. Then my step dad, a real petrol head, said let me have a go which I reluctantly did. Put his foot down and just went "FCUK ME!!" at exactly the same time the 2nd turbo kicked in. Followed "Oh yes my son, what the fcuk is under that bonnet???!"
