Was on Virgin, but the throttling of the connection if downloading more than 4GB in 8 hours or whatever it was was a right pain, especially as we were on the most expensive service they do! In a house with a family and also has an office, we ended up hitting these limits fairly frequently and being limted to 4Mbit Megs from 20Mbit! In the end we found Be (I believe this is the same as O2 now?) and I'm getting 21Mb Download and 1.8Mb upload for half the price of Virgin, without any limits! Plus have a fixed IP address so I dont have to use DyDNS to get to SSH to my home network from work Ping times are typically in the 10-20ms region for UK game servers where as they were 7-15ms on Cable.

Would probably be easier to grab one from a Supra breaker as I don't think they are serviceable with the pre-tensioners in them that fire in an accident etc. Check out the for sale section for anyone breaking them, plus there are a few on here that break supes themselves and may have what you need. I wouldn't have thought it would cost a massive ammount as it's not the most sought after part. Sorry I can't tell you who they are just yet! I haven't been on the forum very much lately and have lost touch of who does what etc! EDIT: beaten to the punch!

OD off light flashes when a speed cannot be detected from one of the speed sensors. It did this on mine and also gave me an engine warning light everytime I would reach over ~60-80mph somewhere. I think the error code points it to speed sensor 2 or something like that (sure someone will correct if wrong) I found it to be a lose wire from where the speed converter/delimiter was spliced behind the odometer.

Saw this last night! Really enjoyed it! (Star Trek) Think because of the way they have done it, it would appeal more to those who are not so much Die Hard Trekkies but are Sci-Fi fans. Have a feeling the new cast may not go down so easy with the trekkies but I'm glad they've tried some new things to breathe new life into the francise after Enterprise the series which I wasn't a fan of. Like the way everything is cruder, dirtier etc as its set at the beginning, nice to know how everyone gets to know each other. Will definately be making this part of my 1080p HD collection at home! Was definately worth seeing at the cinema and I am confident that many would feel the same.

Ah! No fair. They were great at Cardiff, but I've had a load of good hard house nights in Brixton Academy, good venue for it and bet they filled it!

Methuen Park, Bath Road, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN14 0UL Easy to get to from M5, basically get off M4 at chippenham and head toward Cepen Park South, or come in from A4 from Bath, through Box and past Corsham. Defo a good meet to come to, great bunch of people and should be getting busier now that the weather is picking up! See ya there.

Anyone else seen them live yet? I saw them on Sunday in Cardiff! Best gig I have ever been to, period! Fantastic, energetic, and the best light show I've seen on the stage for a long time! Got a load of HD footage on cam! The music was mental, and I love the new album so was good to hear all the new tracks live, definately more like the original albums (always outnumbered wasn't 'classic' prodigy for me and not a single track from it was played) Was great to finally here Smack my b!tch up and voodoo people live as well as many other classics from Experience, Music for the Jilted Generation and fat of the land. If you have any chance of seeing them I recommend it heavily - worth every penny of £28 and the atmosphere was great! Just a warning though - not a light hearted atmosphere at all (what were you expecting? ) and dont wear your best clothes as they will see more sweat than one man can produce in a year!

Nice to find some more people on the forum playing with these! I bought a Flexifoil Blade IV 4.9 last year with some uprated lines, and that thing bites! Anything around 15mph wind is great for traction, gets you in the air plenty. 20Mph and I have found myself a couple of storeys high in the air - suffice it to say I am not thinking of using it in any stronger winds at my experience level. My work mates found my kiting escapades very amusing with an animated gif eventually circulating the office: I was a beginner then and have bought protection since! I would suggest at least buy some kite killers so that if you get into trouble you can just let go of the kite and it will be killed without dragging you across a road or through barbed wire or something. They're only about a tenner from eBay and could save your life. Of course once you are in the air, you really need armour! Stay safe and if you have a kiting day I'll defo come along!

Was on in the car this morning - certainly woke the guy up that I was giving a lift to work Anyone going to see them this year? I'm of to Cardiff on Apr 5th to see them. Looking forward to that one!

Definately sure? Mine were terrible, but it didn't feel like a quick enough vibration for a warped disc on mine. But when I felt it was worse when the brakes were hot I decided to change them today. When i took them off I found that the inner disc surface was only wearing in the middle - kind of like a dip in the disc. New ones on and is great and obviously stops like the UKs are known for!

Quick speedtest shows a fairly close result. Not bad for a single connection. All newsgroup and torrenting involves mulitple connections and can yield slightly increased speed http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/53Gmt7rBJJdtefJ982fenQ?feat=directlink

Well I'm getting 18.5 Mbps on USENET so yeah, I do lol. Its completely down to how far you are from your local exchange and the quality of your line (which is let down also by the quality of the wiring in most people's houses) I could lower the SNR margin on my modem too and possily get closer to the max 24Mbps, which most ppl only get when they are a stones throw from the exchange. (I'm approx 1 mile from it) I must admit, I was sorry to leave Virgin. Service has been great up until late. If they were more competitive and didn't throttle their connections I'd be there, but they cannot compete with what I'm getting at he moment. I could pay £17.50 for my download speed, but I wanted the faster upload and the static IP.

I've just switched from Virgin over to Be after almost 6 years. Have always been on a cable connection and never thought I'd move over to ADSL over PSTN, but Virgin is too expensive for what you get. I would have stayed but it's ~£37 for the 20Mbps service, which I was willing to pay until Virgin took over (used to be telewest when I started!) they now throttle your whole connection to 4Mbps if you download more than 4GB in a certain time period. Bear in mind how quick you can actually download 4GB and you realise how quick you pass that limit! So it means that half the time I wouldn't be getting the speed I payed for! Now I am on Be I get a static IP, 19Mbps down, 2.1Mbps up (ADSL 2+ Annex M) and it is never throttled. Plus my pings are commonly between 6 and 15ms in COD4 and UT! All this for £21 instead of £37. I also get control over my connection to certain degree. I can choose how far I wish to push my telephone line so that I can maximise speed or reliability! Gives you a good sense that it's "Your" broadband. When you all get 50Mb, I'll just try not be be jealous

Mine is just wired into the original dash lighting wires (ones that dim with the dimmer). It works fine this way. I dont want the dash anymore crammed than it already is so I say just hide the inverter somewhere!
-
Goty those on mine too. Wired them through the built in Supra dimmer knob too so I can dim them without using the inverter dial (I've hidden it behind the dash). Just means you can't adjust the colour to green, but thats what coulour I always need them to be anyway
-
I got it too I think its where the dash meets the windscreen and as you go over bumps etc the edge of the trim rubs against the window and squeaks! Its on my list of to do's. when I get my dial pods I have a nose at it. Have to be in the right mood to start taking off trim! L.

Don't think I have As I said I wasn't in the most picture taking mood that day for some reason. Think it was because its the first meet in ages and just couldn't think about taking pictures, just wanted to enjoy it! lol I'll do better next time. More more more! Might have a few but not many, that was pretty much all I took but I'll have another look and see if I can improve any of the pictures that fell below my usual picture taking standards
