  1. Unless you have a specific need for Blu-ray, I'd say pick the one which has the most exclusive titles you want for it. If I had to choose it would be the Xbox 360 as I am interested in more of the Xbox 360 exlucsive titles such as Halo, Gears of War, and Microsoft seem to just gain more exclusive titles that sony. Also, although you have to pay for XBOX live (26 quid a year) I much prefer it over the PS3 online system. Oh and one thing I HATE about the PS3 is the necessity to 'install' half of the games that you play on it! Such a mundane task belongs to the world of PC's! On XBOX, installing it is completely optional if you want the speed boost (and it's defo not slow) and disk drive silence. Having said all this, one exclusive must have title and I ended up buying the PS3 as well. I couldn't pass up playing MGS 4 but haven't played on my PS3 since!

  3. I would say yes mate, noticeably! Edge had one of these on his Supra and it was noticeably louder than mine. If I can peel myself away from Halo ODST for 2 seconds I'll try and dig out a flyby vid of it when I'm back home!
  4. Great thread! Could be useful for those deciding which to go for! Here's my TT with Blitz Nur Spec R. Anyone have a vid of a single with this same exhaust? g0I_Cgrjkm4
  5. Need the rear coolant pipe, goes just above cylinder 6. Photo below with highlighted hose! Needed ASAP - money waiting! If not then if anyone knows the part number I will go to Mr T. Anyway to get it before the weekend! Cheers. Lee. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3498/3918490977_534d698fe1_o.jpg
  6. Yup, take the whole door card off. I was 2 seconds away from prying the panel off before I thought I'd better take the door card off and check! Confusing as all the other parts just unclip!

    insurance

I'm 26, 7 yrs NCB and I pay £397 fully comp on my TT, all mods declared. That's with admiral, but seeing as the car has a lot done to it I should really think about changing to someone who offers agreed value! Admiral will only pay out for standard Supra TT at market value etc. Just ring around I would as another insurer can sometimes offer it for far less. Also, it's worth having a second car sometimes and putting the Supra on limited mileage. I've limited my Supra to 5000 miles/year, although I do more like 2000

    Bit fed up

I've driven through Snowdonia a couple of times in my runaround and every time I've wished I was in my Supra Same goes for the roads around Brecon Beacons! ... Hey! Why on earth haven't I taken my Supra to Wales before??! **runs and grabs keys**

    Bit fed up

Agreed the point is definately to have fun, but driving 500 miles in my Supra at crusing speeds is not what I call fun. Yes it's amazingly comfortable (albeit loud) but the fun only starts when putting your foot down! Although exagerated, fun comes occurs at 5 mpg and 1mm of lost tread per second! In the Sup you could burn £50 in fuel cruising on the motorway somewhere for 250-300 miles or £50 in fuel & tyres etc and not get very far. The latter would definately get me more fun for my money! A must I think though is to buy at least a half decent, comfortable run around, and put a decent stereo in it! 2.0 Turbo Diesel is about as slow as I could stand too! It would be insanely depressing being slower than the average saxo etc!

    Bit fed up

I bought my Supra, and within 6 months I bought a £700 turbo diesel runaround and I quickly learned that it was a LOT cheaper to have the two cars and use them appropriately than using my Supra as the sole method of travel! Now I when I tell people how many cars I have I do get called a rich b@stard! They find it hard to believe that running two cars is actually cheaper than running one! The Supra is my weekend toy and I drive it to unwind, have fun, go for a blast etc. If I drove it everyday I would get bored of it and appreciate it less. Hard not to appreciate the Sup when I've been driving around in a french sh!t box all week If you are that worried about fuel consumption in your Supra, why not be first person to do a Supra Diesel conversion!
  11. Yup, decent price for a decent enough walk around lens. Would have liked another L, but I just don't have that kind of cash floating around for glass anymore I may replace it with one later but right now I'm a lens short of a full kit so needs must! Cheers. L.
  12. lool Unfortunately I'm in 'sunny old England' still. if you PM me Paypal details I'll send over the money now for you. Cheers.
  13. 1st Dibbs! lol Is that inc Postage? Cheers. L.
  14. Weren't in manual mode were you? Autobox won't go into 4th (overdrive) if you were. Although j-specs are limited to 112MPH (speedos over-read so will be about 120MPH on the dial) I don't think it was the limiter you were hitting as if it was you'd feel the power suddenly cut off which you can feel as quite a sudden jolt! (un-nerving the 1st time it happens!) I'm certain you weren't in overdrive at least, as a stock auto TT wouldn't be at 6k RPM @ 120MPH!
  15. Newcastle/North Tynside - In the Orange NT2 building car park! Someone own up then so I can come pester you at your desk!
  16. 1) Edge 2) Fearless + 2 3) Blackie 4) Karolina 5) Wile e Coyote 5) buster + alex (maybe) 6) Dcarrter21 7) Jimmer 8) Lee 9) Mark & Mark from ilfracombe (will be going back home after carting) 10) leelbuk Count me in mate! Let me know if you want the moola paypal'd or I pop round with it!
  17. Thanks Dave, mney received! Will get into the post ASAP! Really? I never noticed this, just assumed that it was 1 year! If I can remember where I bougjht it from I'll get another receipt printed off for this! Otherwise I assume they may honour the warranty by serial number?
  18. Hello all! Before I go stick all this on eBay I thought I'd offer these here! Just a few bits and pieces that could do with a new home as hopefully soon I'll be leaving home! 1. Maxtor 6V300F0 300GB SATAII 7200rpm Hard Drive £25 posted **SOLD** Hard drive is just over 1.5years old, have scanned for bad sectors and found none! Just been used for storage on my PC so not thrashed at all. Drive will be zero'd, sent out formatted ready to install Windows on it or bung it into you PC or a hard drive caddy for storing your films, music etc 2. GeForce 8800GTX 768MB PCI-Express graphics card - NVIDIA reference card. MINT condition, never overclocked £80 posted Cost £275 when I bought it but now they go between £75 and £100+p&p on eBay. These are selling really well as 2nd hand on eBay at the moment which is probably because these cards will latest games like crysis with settings on High and maintain a nice framerate, all without breaking the bank! This is CUDA, PhysX and NVIDIA 3D vision ready, directx 10 graphics card and already works with Windows 7 too! If you want to be able to play the latest call of duty, crysis warhead, far cry 2, prototype, left 4 dead etc, this will do it all on high settings! Note: This is a double slot card (requires the space of 2 PCI cards but only 1 PCI express connector) and you'll need a true 450W or more PSU with 2x6pin power connectors to run this as it is a high end card! I do not have the outer box for this but still have the packaging the card sits in, plus the component cable (both not pictured) and the DVI-VGA converter. I will ensure it's packaged well and is insured when posted. Latest drivers on nVidia's site however if for some reason you can't get these, let me know and I'll burn them to a CD and send with it. 3. Acoustic Solutions Powerforce 2000 Floorstanding speakers £50 collected**SOLD** Been a part of my home theatre setup for a couple of years but I've now upgraded so these are taking up space. These speakers take a beating! Guarantee that most people won't even stretch the legs of these. Great party speakers or great for home cinema! These are heavy and bulky so I cannot post these although I can meet near Bristol if necessary. Specs: Bi-ampable/wireable, 8 OHM, 220W Long term power, 300 short-term 2x 8" Woofer, 1 x Mid, 1x Silk Dome tweeter. Has a small mark on the edge of 1 of the speakers but other than that are as bought new still with the acoustic spiked feet and front covers! Any questions feel free to ask, I'll be putting these on eBay on Sunday while it's supposed to be raining here Cheers Lee.
  19. Received mine this weekend too! Another happy customer mate! I haven't had a chance to fit yet either but looking forward to seeing it on there! Thanks for the speedy delivery!
  20. Yes please! I did have one but lost it somehow... didn't have the supra logo on it though anyway so I'd rather have one of these. If you could PM payment details etc I'll PayPal it over straight away. Cheers. L.
  21. I usually don't check this area of the forum much because I never get spotted! That would be me mate, I work for Orange in Aztec West so would have been on my way in! Always take the Supra in when it's a nice day and I know it's going to be a hard day. Nothing beats going for a blast at lunch, you get back to work feeling very refreshed! Cheers for the spot! I'll keep my eyes peeled for you, but I dont seem to see many around Bristol at the moment!
  22. Hi , it's only a small part but has been something I've been needing for a while now! I need the upper coolant pipe at the rear of the engine. I've highlighted the one I mean in the attachment. (mine is a temporary replacement, the real one has a 90 degree bend right at the end of it) Let me know if you have it, how much you want for it posted etc.
  23. Yeah mate, I expect that's Claire's! Although, there's no mention that it was going sideways!...
