  1. Excellent. My mate will also be there in his Mini Cooper S
  2. Hi all. Am booking this today; https://www.trackdays.co.uk/book/cartrackday/9821/ Just got the small detail of the kitcar to assemble! Currently doing a Ford 2.0 install in a Locost kitcar. Hope to get around 170hp, in a 500kg car, so should be pretty nifty. Anyone here up for this?
  3. There you are, parked in my street, in Moreton on Lugg, Herefordshire. White car, white wheels, and a big rear wing.
  4. I would be up for Anglesey, although my Locost is still incomplete, it should be ready in about 6 weeks.
  5. Sold http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-Swift-1-5GLX-Low-Mileage-/191889170125?
  6. I would take the ratings on budget tyres with a pinch of salt. I work in the tyre trade, and have been reliably informed there is skulduggery afoot. Better to listen to the opinions of those who have used them.
  7. My wife is the manager of the best hotel in town. http://www.castlehse.co.uk/
  8. Cheers for that, have just ordered a piece for my Kitcar.

    Run Flat Tyres

I reckon they would argue that they were a different type of tyre.

    Run Flat Tyres

There may be warranty implications; I imagine the manufacturer, and the insurer, will view changing to non runflats, as a modification.
  11. Really can`t think of anyone more annoying than Eddie Jordan. That will be the end of my Top Gear viewing.
  12. Hi All. My boss has recently bought an MX5, but decided it is not for him, and he is now looking for an American muscle car, so has asked me to help to sell the Mazda; It is 2007 GR07JGO MX5 1.8 in dark blue, with black top. One owner for 8 years, and then my boss for a few months. It has done 7300 (not 73000) miles from new. It is in excellent order, as you would imagine. Car is in Kington, Herefordshire. Ebay ad with pics and full spec to follow, priced at £7800
  13. The boss is looking for a late model Mustang, so does not want this. Cheers
  14. My boss is looking for a Yank muscle car, I will pass this on tomorrow.
  15. + 1 for Niagara, it is a great spectacle. We were actually there on the evening that guy walked across on a tightrope. We drove from Montreal, the traffic in Toronto was hideous, took something like 4 hours just to get around around the M25esque ringroad.
  16. Cheers, will have a look at that.
  17. This Saturday, on Radio 5 Live, but does anyone know where to watch it online for free?
  18. Or any colour other than silver! I think the noise of my old TT was probably the best car soundtrack I ever owned. Must be appreciating in value by now, I guess "shorties" are pretty rare now?
  19. A hobby of mine, buying and selling wheels. I would sell them individually.
  20. I reckon a master tactician will inevitably overcome a stupid, ugly giant; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OJuaeKibP0
  21. Ha, ha. Brings back a few memories of pointing the wrong way!
  22. We should have a poll; My vote would be the Mk2 MR2. Mine cost £740 (the turbo version), all I did was ditch the interior, buy some good brakes, and tyres. A delimiter was a couple of quid, and I was passing cars 20 times the price of mine.
  23. Have you driven an MR2 on track? It is a different experience cruising on the road, and going flat out on a track. With just a few basic modifications, the (Mk2) MR2 is a great track car.
