  1. Recently drove a tankful like the guy who drives Ms Daisy, and got 330 miles. Hard to resist turning the music off and the engine audio on though.
  2. There are craftsmen out there, who do this sort of repair every day as their living. I recently bought a set of 4 pot brakes only to discover one of them was cracked in the same place as yours. I found a local company (on a recommendation) who specialise in such repairs, mainly for racing cars, and had mine fixed for £80. Your call

Flat out sideways, the only way to live. Went to Silverstone last weekend, the occasion was great, with all the support races and air displays etc, but the race itself was lousy.
  4. Havent been out in the Soop all week, so a good blast is in order today, hope to still leave space for Moto GP on TV. Aint life tough on a Sunday?
  5. Yeah, just had some paintwork done, a good job, at a very good price, by a guy in Kington if ever you need any. See you around. Cheers from Carl
  6. Hey, looks familiar, did I see you at the bottom of Dinmore Hill last Sunday?
  7. Try petrol, its cheap, dissolves many such deposits, and wont trash the paint.
  8. Hey, I only just noticed this thread, I am a red too!
  9. I think that the Morgan is truly hideous. My Supra is 14 years old and I cant think of any prettier cars of today.
  10. But its great if you have to sit in traffic on a hot day, windows closed and cool as you like. I dont drive a Supra for the mpg, its purely a fun thing, and as such a few more quid doesnt really matter to me.
  11. Hi all. I need to get seal kit for my front brake caliper, its a 4 pot Sumitomo, does anyone know the part number for this. Cheers from Carl
  12. Bought mine cos I had to give up bikes a couple of years ago, due to a dodgy neck. Boys and their toys. I love it mostly because its sooooo pretty, gets noticed and admired wherever I take it. And I too have a small willy.
  13. 27 years for me, too many mince pies on Christmas day!!??
  14. Hah, so the mystery is solved! See you around no doubt.
  15. Hi Ian I am Carl, and I still havent seen that one with graphics around town. Any news on local runs yet? Hope to get my brakes fixed this week, remember I said I bought some UK calipers, well the NSF one has a crack where the pipe goes in. Fingers crossed I can find another one, or get this one fixed.
  16. Greetings from sunny Herefordshire. Newbie here just signed up and would like to wish everyone a good day. Lovely day to be out cruising, but alas no cars in my driveway, missus gone to work in her Honda, and my precious Supra 20 miles away in bits, thats another story to be seen in bits wanted forum! Will post up some photos of my car as soon as fixed. Its red n/a manual. Youall have a good one.
