  1. I have a mate in Llandod, who is always trading in motocross bikes, I will mention it to him, but give me an idea of price.
  2. I used my Supra. At the reception all the girls said "she looks gorgeous", referring to the wife, and all the blokes said "she looks gorgeous", referring to the car. I cant imagine what could be more elegant and fitting, than to use ones own Supra. Hope you have a great day.
  3. Seen you twice today, silver, sounding sweet, cruising through car park at Blockbuster, and 10 minutes later by the Blind College. I was in the gunmetal RX8.
  4. That really looks the Mutts, now where is that lottery ticket. GLWS
  5. He could still beat his mate, Petrov, with one arm in a sling.
  6. I had to buy one wheel from them, (its my work), I paid for it with a credit card, and it took a fortnight to arrive, the staff were very blunt, and despite numerous emails and phone calls, they never did send me an invoice for it, which caused me further grief from our company accountant.
  7. Hi all. Our house is about 30 years old, and most of the windows are the oe ones. So we are thinking of having them replaced, and wondering if anyone here has experience to share, regarding the pros and cons of different suppliers. We had a guy from Everest round yesterday, and he wanted over 7k for 6 windows, which does sound a bit daft to me (especially as I am car shopping at the same time!) Cheers
  8. Looking forward to more pics when it is finished.
  9. Bump. Now heavily reduced, as it will need welding on sills for its next MOT. Down to £1795
  10. Bump. Will also consider part exchanging it for a TT Supra. You just cant have enough of a good thing.
  11. They should not have put T rated tyres on a car which had original equipment H rated tyres. In the event of an accident, the insurance company will try to wriggle out of any claim. There is a lot of discussion in the trade at the moment about winter tyres, as they are commonly a lower speed rating than you would expect to find on that size. For example 195/65x15 are normally H or V, and I have seen winter tyres with a T rating. I doubt if there is any car on this size which is OE on Ts. Another common size is 225/45x17, usually OE on W or Y, but on winter tyres I have seen them on Vs. I am sure I have seen the details of the legislation on the Goodyear / Dunlop website, I will have another look when I have more time.
  12. I reckon we could make this job easier by starting up that huge snow-blower parked over there.
  13. Still here, now with 3 free inches of snow! And enough ice to prevent the door from opening. What a deal eh?
  14. Still surprises me what people are asking for them though, there are several on PH at 5k, 6k and up.
  15. Hi all, Here is my 300ZX for sale http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2326492.htm
  16. I just dug out the "Airplane" video, gonna watch it now. "Roger, Roger, what`s your vector, Victor?"
  17. I wonder if the alloy wheels are the correct fit. Have a look at the numbers inside. Fiats are 98mm pcd, which is an unusual size. People often put 100pcd wheels on them, which is a very common fitment. This would lead to tightness, and wear of threads as you described above.
