  1. if you have no whine, then fuel pumped aint sending fuel. Could be a simple fuse, locate the fuel pump fuel, sure its on the engine bay, look at the diagram, them replace it. see if it works?
  2. can you hear the fuel pump prime?
  3. at one point i was ready to use the bar phone to get you over, yeah the locking tool i bought is pretty handy, can be used either to lock in against subframe or used as a lever to 2 people required though. pffffffft at one point i was ready to set fire to it, but i took a deep breathe and got it done
  4. Right so, little update. Had an hour today, so picked up an Impact gun Electric and hit the bolt numerous time with it, i hooked up the locking tool, then jimmied the breaker bar under the shelf in the garage, its sturdy as hell so i knew it was good to keep it locked. Then jammed the other breaker bar on it, and pulled towards me, i heard a faint crack, but knew the bitch was ready to pop, so i reset myself, took a deep breathe and pulled that sucker hard, BANG one cracked nut. woooohhoooooooo! So all i need to do now, is get a pulley remover kit, to get the pulley off as its on tight. Next up with be to fulley pull out the pistons, and crank itself
  5. why not disclose it though, we know builds aint cheap, but since your kinda the first to do a stroker it would be great if we could compare this to say a fully built single set up. I know everyone would be interested. For my build im disclosing all, every part i fit will have a price next to it, all the way through to Ryans Mapping to see what the actual price comes to. ??? Be interesting to say the least
  6. whats the build price roughly on one of these?
  7. if was you, chuck in the packs, the racing plugs(expensive ones) and some cam pulleys, you can run a little more timing on that lot, see what it produces. Also just show's what i well looked after engine can produce on these cars, 160k engine HEALTHY, and now producing 541bhp. which will pull like a train on the auto box. Glad to see it mapped and only a few tiny wee issue's dude, enjoy it, when you get it home.
  8. stunning mate, i loved my ridox kit, wheels just make this sex wee time, in fact im off for some hankys
  9. dont Mitchell do these? you'd need to send your'saway to him though, unless he has a set already done?
  10. did he say his was Broken ?
  11. 10, 12, 14mm spanners and sockets you will need. Extentions, Plus Gas, and Patience Flare spanners are pretty good also
  12. Either way you do it, there a pain in the hole to get to all the nuts and bolts
  13. no need bud, its vented to atmosphere, the braided hose is running down under the car, so its all good.
  14. there liable to pop off when running more power, i know its only a breather but time you realise its missing, it can make a hell of a mess of that clean bay
  15. thanks bud, honestly not thought about it yet, im too caught up in the tear down first, along with getting it pretty much prestine for the rebuild, once thanks on track i'll look at spec list,
  16. cheers troops, the crank nut will cause me a headache though i know it.

  18. So had an hour to spare today managed to get Plugs out Head Bolts cracked in sequence Head off Oil Drained I got my crank tool holder delivered today, so gona try and get this beeeeeatch off, iv had a quick mock up and loks as though i could bend the stand or bolts that the long block is connected to. Would i need to drop the block on the floor to get more leverage ? Oil Drained Head Bolts Plugs, looks like they've been in a while One shiney Head Plug holes, pretty groggy in there Getting there now. TDC top dead center, number 1 piston and 6 Engaged Nice cover to keep all the crap out, courtesty of my Brother So its a case now of getting the crank pulley off, which i aint looking forward too. Any tips are welcome as how to crack the git on a stand?
