  1. Sums up the value of a modern universtiy education quite nicely I reckon.
  2. This is a bit worrying. I'm in the process of changing to a brand new, completely stock, UK set-up (incl a fluid change, of course). Please don't tell me it's not going to hold up to a few track days and the Ring in April.
  3. Sorry to hear this mate, we lost a lab to the same thing about 6 years ago.
  4. Yes, sport is full of people with massive wealth and no class.
  5. Not as gutted as the dog.
  6. I think you missed the meaning. It wasn't a vote of sympathy for the aged Beetle.
  7. Poor old Paul, I bet he'll never go down on 'one knee' again...
  8. Quality. Oh, and I'd put up with almost anything just to lose the adverts.
  9. She'll be indoors, baking cakes like a good 'un.
  10. I'll spend Easter weekend in the garage, doing a full underbody inspection and fitting - New Tein SS suspension New complete UK brake set-up Modified front towing eye New exhaust to gearbox bracket Exhaust baffle Then doing a noise test. All in preparation for my trip to the 'Ring in April.
  11. Strange how 'working' retreivers, lab's and hounds previously(?) used in fox hunting aren't docked.
  12. You're right Trick, there's a '93-'97 design (no longer available) and a '97-2002 according to my 'local'. Just ordered one, £23.
  13. Gaz, did you find out if this is correct?
  14. All of the above. We just need to arrange it in the right order:D
  15. That's cr@p mate, hope you get sorted. I can't believe someone's handing counterfeit notes arround and the police aren't interested. Sounds wrong to me.
  16. Is this a definite mate? I'm going in April, so I need to know.
  17. What happened to the conveyor:search:
  18. I was there last year when we lost to Derby in the play-off final. Fed up all the way home:(
  19. Thanks for the info lads, I'll check with MR T
  20. Was that just the front set? If so, did you notice any balance problems having AP fronts and J spec rears?
  21. More giant killing would be good:) This is how they got there - Barnsley Third round: Barnsley 2-1 Blackpool Fourth round: Southend 0-1 Barnsley Fifth round: Liverpool 1-2 Barnsley Quarter-finals: Barnsley 1-0 Chelsea Cardiff Third round: Chasetown 1-3 Cardiff Fourth round: Hereford 1-2 Cardiff Fifth round: Cardiff 2-0 Wolves Quarter-finals: Middlesbrough 0-2 Cardiff Portsmouth Third round: Ipswich 0-1 Portsmouth Fourth round: Portsmouth 2-1 Plymouth Fifth round: Preston 0-1 Portsmouth Quarter-finals: Manchester United 0-1 Portsmouth WBA Third round: Charlton 1-1 West Brom Third round replay: West Brom 2-2 Charlton (West Brom won 4-3 on penalties) Fourth round: Peterborough 0-3 West Brom Fifth round: Coventry 0-5 West Brom Quarter-finals: Bristol Rovers 1-5 West Brom We've done ok so far considering we've been drawn away in every round. We've nothing to fear, we're the under dogs. I think both semi's will be good games.
  22. I'm looking for the support bracket that goes between the gearbox and 1st/2nd cat joint. Has anyone got one they don't need? Ta.
  23. If I wasn't a WBA fan I'd be backing Barnsley all the way. Any Championship team that beats Liverpool and Chelski along the way deserve to win the cup.
