  1. Take a look here - http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?catalog=903&partnum=1S1385&a=UK903-1S1385 1S1385 - 2 Male blade terminals - M16 x 1.5 - Normally Closed - Breaks 209f ± 8 (93-102)
  2. There's some info here, mainly trans temp, but I had no (known)issues cruising at 110 / 120 in Europe. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=124503&highlight=ring
  3. They're a bit better lately, with the Toyota engine (of course).
  4. Anyone got one for sale? A mate of a mate of mine is looking for one for a conversion (some Healey somethingorother). Ta.
  5. I flushed mine through with this stuff and have used it for 2 years. No issues.
  6. I used 10mm (3/8" near enough) ID rubber hose on mine. The cooler looks plenty big enough compared to the stock cooling loop.
  7. Yes, but no need to run it constantly, as the stock fan(s) hardly ever come on. Our relatively cool weather and the stock viscous fan almost negate the need for the suplementary electric fan. The switch in the bottom of the rad brings the fan(s) on at 100 C, so I'd get a switch, housing (mount in top or bottom hose) and relay for the Spal.

  9. Just a CAD jockey or real engineer?
  10. Need pic's and spec of Mrs Col before offerng advice.
  11. 1mm ally sheet. If you're careful (and have a strong grip) you can cut it to shape with a sharp stanley knife. Easy to bend into shape too.
  12. I thought the gov' grant finished a couple of years ago?
  13. Indeed. Bl00dy greasy diegos. Whoops.
  14. I've just had a Lion bar. Didn't taste like meat at all. Rubbish really.
  15. I believe you're correct. The motion of the disc ensures that the air within the vanes is 'pumped' outwards, creating air flow from the center of the disc outwards. If the vanes are the other way round, they'll be trying to draw air inwards and working aginst centrifugal force rather than with it.
  16. 3/8" or 10mm ID hose. I got mine from my local hydraulic hose / fitting suppliers.
  17. Indeed. A full tank on my Pug costs about £70, the car cost me nothing (rescued from a neighbour who was going to scrap it:)) Mind you, scrap cars fetch £200 a ton now at the scrap yard so I've had it 3 years and made £200!!
  18. Have it, you're only here once. You can always sell it if it falls short of expectations.
  19. Pic's of mine in here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=121357&highlight=COOLER
  20. I doubt it very much. Digsy will be along in a minute with a 16 page thesis by way of a full explanation.
  21. Did an evening at Snetterton last Thursday, weather was dry and sunny. Trans temp went up to about 93C towards the end of the 20 min sessions. Interstingly, the water temp never rose above about 92 compared to about 100 before the trans cooler was fitted. So, not putting as much heat into the rad via the trans fluid certainly helps coolant temps.
