If I got caught at over 100, I couldn't argue against calls for a ban (and to be fair the guys not arguing). I got banned for speeding as a 17 year old. My old man showed me no sympathy, just told me to take the medicine, learn the lesson and get over it. I'm just repeating this good (in my opinion) advice. B******ks, I've turned into my dad:( I imagine you'd end up in the Med if you tried to get to 100?

How do you find the Metris system Tony? We considered one but ended up with one of these - http://www.europacmetrology.co.uk/page.asp?PageID=1 as they did us a good deal. It's proving invaluable for measuring bodywork, jigs & fixtures.

Fair play to you for coming on here. The fact that there was traffic around will go against you I think. Assuming 102 isn't the fastest you've been on the road (don't answer unless it's a 'no'), you're about to recieve a harsh lesson. My only advice would be to learn that lesson.

Bunch of whingers. You don't know when you're well off. You've got more wealth, food and comforts than billions of other people. There are no natural predators here, no natural disasters (just the odd flood) and no obvious threat of armed invasion (unlike the situation our parents / grand parents faced). "To be born English is to have won first prize in the lottery of life". People fought and died to protect this place and you'd leave it without a thought. Grow some balls you cowards (or move to a low crime area).

Different levels of drunk mate. There's drunk and in control (sort of) and there's drunk, fell asleep on the grass verge only to wake up as your car, driven by your worried wife, pulls up alongside. At 2am, when she's come looking for you as she's worried and can't sleep. I was a bit younger then. About 39.......
