Hi Everyone, Right, i need to relocate my Transmission Fluid Cooling, i have just got a new radiator (old one broke) and this new one is an alloy one an so it doesnt come with the Transmission Fluid Cooling, i dont do track days or anything like that, i may give it a bit of a blast down the road now an then but thats about it, the car is running about 480bhp at the moment with the other mods done, but rarely get to use that power lol. what i need is all the basic info on what parts i should get to cool the fluid and how it should be set up and fitted, cheeply lol as money is abit hard right now, but i just want to get the thing back up and running again! it doesnt need to be race performance parts, i just need it so it dont fry my gearbox, basically as good as or abit better than stock cooling. i have read some posts on here but they are all about race or track setup, i just want a normal and functioning setup for day to day use. i hope you can help me! thanks, steve

Hi everyone, I need help! i have a TT Jap import Auto, and i have a core plug with a hole in it its located under the turbos and is the closest one to the bulkhead, how dificult is this to change and can anyone tell me what to expect? i have experience on working on cars (stripping engines, and putting back together etc) and so im going to attempt to fix this myself... though if anyone can give me some tips, or hints on any problems im likely to encounter that would be great! also how hard are the core plugs to fit? and where can i get them from?? i hope someone can help me with this! thanks in advance, Steve.

Radiator - Jspec 95 TT Auto - Urgent!
Supra Steve 856 replied to Supra Steve 856's topic in Parts Wanted
Thanks for the tip, At the moment ive tryed a fix using filberglass, i have made a patch that surounds the whole top of the rad where it has split, to reinforce the top of the rad, i found the presure was building up SO much it was just blowin off all other attempts... This kind of fix only lasts a month or two, as the water seeps out under the fiberglass, and i think this last time i have done this has now made it impossible to fix again as the surface is too damaged now for a bond. So its new rad time!! once it goes thats it, u wont fix it for long if you do manage it lol So if anyone can offer me a good deal on a new one then i got the money now to pay for it (as long as its not toooo much lol) Steve -
I give you £70 for them and i can collect them whenever you like, even this weekend if you like?

Hi Guys, Do any of you have a set of Glass headlights for sale?? I recently had a front end smash and my old jspec (plastic) ones got smashed, i always said to myself if the got damaged i would replace them with the glass set. Does anyone have some for sale and if so how much?? Thanks, steve
-
Hi guys, I have a jspec 1995 TT Auto and my rad has split on the plastic at the top by the filler cap, im after a straight swap replacement, i live in essex, i have the money waiting and if not to far am willing to drive and pick it up! It needs to be in good condition, as the last thing i want is for it to blow again 6 months down the line lol. Does anyone have one i can buy asap?? Steve

Supra Steve 856 replied to Supra Steve 856's topic in mkiv Technical
i thought i did! unpluged it pluged it back in, seemed ok!, but on closer inspection i noticed the connector on 1 of the wires was bent inside the connector, not the easyest to fix trust me!! -
hi, i have recently got myself a oil pressure gauge and fitting the dial is not a problem, all i need to know is where is the best place to fit the pressure sender unit, or has the car already got one that i can connect the signal wire to? any thoughts?? if anyone has any pictures to of a fitted sender unit and how they did it that would be cool too, thanks

Speed Sensor Problem - Please Help! :(
Supra Steve 856 replied to Supra Steve 856's topic in mkiv Technical
you would never expect it!! its as simple as this..... its the connector plug that goes into the back of the odo! it has loose and bad contacts, and im guessing this is confuseing the ECU and screwing up the system, but give the connector a wiggle and it fixes the problem! now all i need to do is make these very small connectors inside the block make a better contact without bustin them lol. thanks for your help guys! -
have you got a problem with your fuel pump then? i recently had a problem with mine, i dont know if this is relevent to what you want to know, but im gonna tell ya anyway... the car didnt start and kept cutting out, to cut a long story short, it was a connector block in the boot, that goes to the fuel pump, it had bad connection, as simple as that! but completely killed my car from running... it is just in where the spare wheel is (top left hand corner), but the damn thing left me stranded for 6 hours!! dunno if thats got anything to do with your problem but hey!
