  1. Hi Everyone, Right, i need to relocate my Transmission Fluid Cooling, i have just got a new radiator (old one broke) and this new one is an alloy one an so it doesnt come with the Transmission Fluid Cooling, i dont do track days or anything like that, i may give it a bit of a blast down the road now an then but thats about it, the car is running about 480bhp at the moment with the other mods done, but rarely get to use that power lol. what i need is all the basic info on what parts i should get to cool the fluid and how it should be set up and fitted, cheeply lol as money is abit hard right now, but i just want to get the thing back up and running again! it doesnt need to be race performance parts, i just need it so it dont fry my gearbox, basically as good as or abit better than stock cooling. i have read some posts on here but they are all about race or track setup, i just want a normal and functioning setup for day to day use. i hope you can help me! thanks, steve

  3. WOW!!! hey that is exactly what i needed!! there is complete instructions on how to remove them, and properly!! Thankyou merckx, thats really helped! all i need now is to find a place where i can get the core plugs from!
  4. Hi guys, thanks for your responses, trouble is im going to have to do the work with the engine in the car, i dont have the money or tools to take the engine out unfortunately well im going to start work on it today, i think im going to try get to them from the top, so i gotta take the turbos off! dont have a clue how to, so if anybody can give me some advice there that would also be cool lol thanks guys!
  5. Hi everyone, I need help! i have a TT Jap import Auto, and i have a core plug with a hole in it its located under the turbos and is the closest one to the bulkhead, how dificult is this to change and can anyone tell me what to expect? i have experience on working on cars (stripping engines, and putting back together etc) and so im going to attempt to fix this myself... though if anyone can give me some tips, or hints on any problems im likely to encounter that would be great! also how hard are the core plugs to fit? and where can i get them from?? i hope someone can help me with this! thanks in advance, Steve.

  12. Yep! that will be me I was on the phone (aint i a good boy, pulled over to take a call), i was just on my way home from work! Thanks for the compliment, im guessing my damaged front end dont show up too much then, well it will be fixed in time for the next season of shows, hopefully with a few more bits on it too
  13. Thanks for the tip, At the moment ive tryed a fix using filberglass, i have made a patch that surounds the whole top of the rad where it has split, to reinforce the top of the rad, i found the presure was building up SO much it was just blowin off all other attempts... This kind of fix only lasts a month or two, as the water seeps out under the fiberglass, and i think this last time i have done this has now made it impossible to fix again as the surface is too damaged now for a bond. So its new rad time!! once it goes thats it, u wont fix it for long if you do manage it lol So if anyone can offer me a good deal on a new one then i got the money now to pay for it (as long as its not toooo much lol) Steve
  14. I give you £70 for them and i can collect them whenever you like, even this weekend if you like?
  15. Hi Guys, Do any of you have a set of Glass headlights for sale?? I recently had a front end smash and my old jspec (plastic) ones got smashed, i always said to myself if the got damaged i would replace them with the glass set. Does anyone have some for sale and if so how much?? Thanks, steve
