  1. I recently bought a set. I think it was £116 and £136 + VAT. They defo are not the same price each.
  2. Have you tried Steve Manley and Oxford Toyota?
  3. Agree. Superb ending. Now let's get the dragons over to the other continent to make some glass and swords. Kill the White Walkers and take over. The end.............. Unfortunately she will probably end up dead, as will the dragons and every other character we remotely like. Who thinks John Snow will be resserected by crazy fire lady?
  4. I think you should let me look after the Lambo to prevent your wife destroying it. Happy for you to have use of it every other weekend.

  6. We all know the availability of the Supra has dramatically reduced over the last few years. Prices increases are invariably going to take place if there is demand. Would be interesting to know what the above two cars do eventually sell for.
  7. I have 18" black Rota wheels at the front and banded 17" black Rota wheel on the rear. Not my personal preference of wheel but they were fitted to maximise traction by last owner who was far more knowledgeable then me about these things. Generally with wheels I personally wouldn't buy anything overly expensive or chrome. They simply won't last with regular use on UK roads and require quite a bit of maintenance. Having said that I do like the CCW wheels, but I would have them painted and I would retain another set of wheels for general use. I would cry if I kerbed one, whereas with my current wheels I wouldn't be overly fussed.
  8. Fair enough. I wouldn't sniff at it either.
  9. Would be better if Toyota did the once over on your car and replaced any perished parts for free as a favour to you for the loan for their media campaign. Surprises me they don't have one to use themselves.
  10. Jut been through your whole thread. Love the attention to detail. Your car I'd looking amazing.
  11. Edit - misread post. Though you were talking about the PAS tank.

    Black mould

We are currently looking at one for ourselves. We had the property cavity wall insulated last year. Winter gone we suffered terribly with moisture for the first time. It would seem whilst the house is markedly better at retaining heat it has also prevented the free movement of air. Seems like these are a good idea and relatively cheap. I've read somewhere that new builds have to include some form of internal ventilation now to prevent moisture problems associated with higher energy efficency homes. Any input from any builders on this (Sorry for the thread hijack Dunk but we might both benefit from a little knowledge here).
  13. It was the fact that, as Scott points out, the transmission tunnel was butchered into place. The rubber shift boots were not fitted, thus under the gear shift trim I had a hole to the gearbox. I found the diff also hadn't been replaced and as such the prop shaft lengths were off. The auto diff also couldn't take the abuse of the 6 speed and was clunking badly. I resolved it all at a cost.

    Black mould

    You could install a PIV?
  15. Don't convert the car. Learn to love the auto. To butcher the car will invariably reduce its desirability and resale IMHO. Especially as the Supra becomes rarer. I suppose it might come down to how long you intend to keep it? I wouldn't ever consider buying a non factor manual again. My last car was a converted auto and and was done badly by the previous owner, which has biased my opinion.

    RHD Japan

I used them quite a few times a number of years back when the exchange rate was better. You can get superb discounts if you buy in bulk. I never had issue with them. Edit - I bought a Greddy 2 row intercooler, cusco brace and a load of Defi gauges. All were genuine and in tip top order.
  17. Hmm, they both look OK. I've opened the one in the box and I didn't notice any obvious deformation. The other is securely wrapped and the overall shape appears correct. Any idea as to how warped the others were?
  18. They are the later variants with the plastic retainers.
  19. All the parts were delivered by Steve last week. I had a single outstanding door seal which arrived this week.
  20. Read the link in the thread. Such a shame. Appears it's not at a point at which it's unsafe to fly, but more that it has exceeded any recorded serviceable aircraft and the engineers are unwilling to certify it due to risk of the unknown. A sad day for aviation.
  21. Is the airframe over hours, is there any hope of keeping it flying? Such a shame to see it go
  22. Never seen one of those before.
