Just thought I should mention that the Veryon is no longer the fastest road car in the world, or at least soon wont be. Anyone heard of the Barabus TKR. Specs 0-60mph - 1.67secs Top Speed - 270mph Plant - 1005bhp 6litre V8 TT Price - £360,000 Goes into production soon and they intend to make 300 to 400 units, with many parts being made in the UK. Welcome to the Club. I also work in Guildford, or on the outskirts - Compton Side. The wife see's quite a few in the local area but I hardly see any. nice to have another club member locally. Might see you around - I have a N reg TT, black with veilside kit.

Oh yes I had a little visit last year.......... The visit was very eventfull (Stag Do), it involved beer, clubs, strip clubs and a visit to the most horrific hospital in the world!!!! Anyone played Silent Hill!! Luckily it was not me but instead a friend of mine who went missing (not even the police could find him) for 12hrs and was later found naked on a bed in a hospital for the damned with a tube up his penis, OWWWWWW!! The city is lovely, although the outskirts are a little ropey. There are plenty of bars, clubs, resturaunts and hotels. People are generally friendly and speak good english. The city is laid out in quite a linear fashion and is therefore easy to navigate. It gets quite cold at night and during the day so take that into consideration. Watch out for seedy bars in back alleys, which are predominantly run by the Russian mafia, and yes I went to one where the doormen carried guns...... (Strip Club). Finally there is loads of eye candy out there so take some tape to secure your mouth shut. Other than that enjoy it .

How long did the item take to arrive?

Saw Jps trading on ebay. They do some very cheap kit. E.g Greddy profec B spec 2 boost controller for, approx £180. Thats loads cheaper than UK shops. unfortunately I was put off by their lack of Paypal. Do you mind if I ask how you paid and how the service was?

Cough, cough, cough. Running like that for a while, and that will be why its so cheap!!

Well at least something in the car is worth owning now!!

Sorry about the car mate, but at least your in one piece. On the plus side you should be able to make back a good deal of the value of the car through all the interest fo parts on this thread. Good luck with sorting it all out and getting a new Supra in the New Year.

See a couple in and around Guildford, however i don't think they are club members as they don't ever respond to insane waving (I wonder why) or the sighting posts. In fact more annoyingly the wife see's more on her travels, she always says "i saw a silver one today, and a red" etc......

I have Tein Flex with EDFC. Not had any problems so far and they are easy to adjust - adjusted them last week for a slightly higher ride, which only took 40mins. Obviously slightly harder than standard suspension, but there there to improve performance and will therefore be slightly harder. The roads I drive on are probably the worst in the SE (Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey border, where no ones takes ownership of the roads and thus they have started to dissolve!!!) and they manage just fine!!

I had to adjust my tein kit as it was too low and kept catching on petrol station slip roads, speed bumps, bit pot holes etc.... It was easy to change and took no more than 40mins all in. All I used was the spanners, and a ruler!! Oh and the instructions. It wasn't very difficult!!

My mates at work have dubbed mine the Bat Mobile!!! They even made a little bat sign with a tourch and left it on my desk incase of an emergency, gits... Jealousy is a killer!!!

I can't believe no one has yet mentioned: 1. The Explorers (1985) - Some kids develop this bubble that can go into space, so they build a spaceship from a fairground carriage and washing machine doors and go into space!! It was cool and starred, River Pheonix and Ethan Hawke. 2. The Last Starfighter (1984) - This kid from a trailer park in America keeps geeting the high score on this space invaders type game. Eventually he is recruited by aliens to fight in an intergalactic war as, surprise, surprise a star fighter pilot. Just a couple I remember
